For strict compliance, emphasize the relevance of rules and regulations and can be the best definition for it. Not only traditional and appropriate, but also a powerful way to remind everyone that rules and regulations must be strictly followed and implemented accordingly at all times.

Obedience and respect to all existing laws, rules and regulations promotes peace and order in the country and government officials are very particular that all rules should be properly implemented for the benefit of all people in their territory. Creation and implementation of government laws differs from one country to another, it depends on the type of government and its people, the one thing common to them is that all must observe and follow implementing guidelines pertaining to laws with importance and strict compliance.

But sometimes due to unavoidable circumstances, an individual intend not to become a law abiding citizen. Becoming unlawful citizen is the only choice they have for their daily survival, to provide food for the table, to sustain the kind of education they want to give to their children or in simple term, a healthy life for the family.

Let me refresh your senses with the recent situation involving Philippines and China. Three Overseas Filipino Workers (OFW) decided to try their luck in China, maybe they were convinced that flying to China will be the best way to reach their hopes and futures.

With complete travel documents, contact persons, instructions and job opportunities waiting for them in China, they decided to leave the Philippines. Upon arrival in China all the hopes and strength they have disappear completely. The Chinese Authorities accused them as illegal drug carrier and the evidence found in their possession leads to their arrest

Fair and just trial in accordance with the Chinese law, sentenced the OFW's to die with lethal injection. According to the Chinese government officials, they reached their verdict in reference with the intensity of the offense and the corresponding consequence for the offense as stated in their government law.

If that is how China handles situation like that, Filipino people have to respect their decision as long as fair trial was given to the accused and in accordance to the Chinese Law. We are not in the position to oppose and violate their country laws.

The Philippine Officials, although aware of slim chances of resolving the issue did not waste this little opportunity for the survival of the convicted OFW's. The vice president of the Philippines did the best he can to resolve the issue or lower the verdict on a personal meeting with the Chinese officials but the appeal cannot be considered because the OFW's were proven guilty and with strong evidences.

The death sentenced by lethal injection was executed last March 30, 2011. Three Filipinos died in the hands of the Chinese government. The whole Philippines were shocked in despair and symphatized with the family of those convicted OFW's. This horrifying event also prompt the Filipino people to express how they feel emotionally, others are opinions, advices and appeals to the government to make sure it will not happen again in the future.

Other Filipinos have been very emotional and expressed how angry they are. Those angry Filipinos are blaming the Philippine government because the OFW's did not survive the penalty. Please be open minded and take into consideration that the Philippine government act and try to rescue those convicted OFW's. Also remember that not all things will happen the way we want it to be.

We are not supposed to blame anybody. We should not blame the officials of the two countries because Philippine government must respect the Chinese Law, the same way Philippine officials would like other countries to respect our laws. We cannot blame the OFW's for their mistakes whether they are the victims or not because they decided to face the risk of their action in exchange for their family's future.

No one is to be blame especially in times like this because all people don't want this to happen and end the way it ended. Even the mastermind of the drug syndicate wouldn't want this the way it ended because their evil mission failed and afraid of the possibility that their modus operandi will be exposed. Blaming is not helping; it could even aggravate the situation in some aspects.

Mistakes have been done and cannot be reverted or pulled back but we can prevent it from happening again. Let us joined forces and think of the best solution and preventive measures to prevent its repetition, possible ways to correct the mistakes. We have to stand strong as one nation and move forward.

Let us remember the sacrifices and pains they encounter and the lives that were taken from them. Embrace it and learn from it. Let us use their life experience and story to remind us how life can be so complicated and to inspire us to think of ways on how life can be not so complicated.
