Health Benefits Of Drinking Green Tea

The health benefit of drinking green tea has been widely researched and documented. Thousands of research studies have been done by countries such as the US, China, Japan and the UK to mention a few.

Besides water, tea is the most consumed drink in the world. Consuming 3-4 cups a day is a simple way to improve your health. Green Tea does not go through much processing before it's poured into your cup. That way the tea leaf remains high and rich in catechins (a flavanol) and antioxidants which helps fight and even prevent cell damage.


Mixed studies and reviews on green tea's effect on cancer. It can help and aid healthy cells when taken 2-3 cups a day. The catechins, antioxidants in tea fight and even prevent cell damage. This is not a cure, but a way of preventing cell damage and there' for preventing cancer.

Healthy Brain

Green Tea can increase activity in the working memory area of the brain. With increased blood flow more healthy blood vessels can reach the brain. It also helps block the build up of plaque, that's been linked to Alzheimer's disease.

Heart Health

Studies have shown green tea helped in preventing a range of heart-related issues. High blood pressure, High cholesterol and heart disease. Reducing high blood pressure and high cholesterol can lead to a lower risk of coronary artery disease.


Shown to help in keeping the blood sugar stable in Diabetic people. Reducing blood glucose concentration and inhibiting lipid intake. Also helps in reducing weight gain in patients with Diabetes.

Weight loss

By drinking 2-3 cups a day you can increase your metabolism by 4% enabling you to burn more calories from fat. It is a good diet supplement and can keep the weight off once you have lost it. Instead of soda replace it with green tea, drinking 1-2 cups for every one can of soda, can save you over 50,000 calories. That in its self can add up to more than 15 pounds of fat.
