Heart Failure Symptoms - Ways to Reduce It!

The number one killer in the United States is still heart disease. It can come silently and it also can come quickly. If you want to reduce heart failure symptoms than there might be a simple way to lessen your chances. Omega-3 and omega-6 fatty acids are an essential nutrient in your diet. If the ratio of these fatty acids is out of wack then there can be an increased risk of heart disease.

In order to reduce heart failure symptoms it might be helpful to understand the dismal statistics related to the disease. Nearly six million people have heart failure symptoms each year and over three hundred thousand die due to not being able to resolve the medical condition before the heart gives out. Nearly seven hundred thousand are diagnosed with heart disease every year.

Sadly enough this disease costs the United States almost forty billion dollars a year in health costs. One in five people die from the effects of heart disease the first year meaning this is a very serious problem, and sometimes deadly. The most common heart failure symptoms are hypertension, diabetes, and coronary disease.

There is no better way to fight heart disease than to eat a diet rich in natural and unprocessed foods, get regular exercise, and reduce stress as much as possible. Franz can't place enough emphasis on the need for a healthy diet to battle heart disease.

However, a diet that is made up of over processed foods, fake fats, and high in sodium and processed sugars will definitely take you closer to having heart failure symptoms!

To better deal with all this Franz recommends a diet rich in omega-3 fatty acids. These can be derived from a good supplement or from food sources like Alaskan salmon. Franz prefers to get these vital nutrients from good food sources like salmon, organic eggs, flax seeds, walnuts, and cauliflower.

Omega-3 fatty acids help raise your good cholesterol levels and lower the bad ones, as well as lower triglycerides. As you increase omega-3 fatty acids in your diet you improve the ratio of those omega-3's to omega-6's for the better! This will reduce inflammation in the body, especially when it comes to the heart muscle. Those who have suffered heart trouble should really look into the amount of omega-3 fatty acids in their diet and add more if they are lacking.

Omega-3 fatty acids have been promoted for years as a good way to have a healthy heart. Some nutritionists also like krill oil as a good way to get beneficial omega-3's into the body when food sources are not enough. However you choose to get adequate amounts, either by healthy foods or supplementation, or both, get started today for the benefit of your heart!
