So now with summer right around the corner, I know everyone is thinking to themselves, "Yikes! What is the best way to get rid of this belly fat?" I know for myself, I love comfort food during the winter and I eat all the time. Before I know it, it's March or April and I'm scrambling to get into that beach shape.
What really are the best ways to get rid of belly fat fast? I personally go straight to liquids I drink first, with of course some great exercises that you can do straight from home. I will tell you about those in my next article! Now back to those liquids!
I know this may be difficult for some but you have to stay away from those sodas and ice creams. Without these two in your intake your looking at an annual weight loss of 20 pounds!! Crazy huh?
Now I know you all heard this before but, you must drink at least 8 glasses of water a day. Not only is this good for weight loss and keeps you hydrated, but it does wonders for your skin. By doing this you can kick off 26 pounds a year!
You will also have to enjoy one, maybe two, or even better, three yogurt-based smoothies a day. Doing this you can have an annual weight loss of 10 pounds!
Stay away from fruit juices. Even if is says its 100% juice, one 16oz bottle of Sunny D has 180 empty calories and a whopping 40 grams of sugar!!! So if your drinking fruit juices, stop it! By doing this you can lose 19 pounds a year.
And last but not least, if you're a coffee nut, as I am, stick with the old fashioned cup of Joe and stay away from all those fancy shmansy blended coffee drinks. This will actually knock off 18 pounds a year.
And now a little gift from me to you. I don't know about you but I absolutely love smoothies. I try to have for a mid morning snack, afternoon snack and at times after dinner. I what I am about to share with you is the best of the best when it comes to smoothies. (Well for me anyway.) This will fill you up and turbo charge your metabolism. Here it is, copy it, make it, enjoy it. Tell me what you think.
1/4 Tbsp of Peanut Butter
1 banana
1/2 cup of milk
1/4 cup of orange juice
1/2 cup of Greek-style yogurt
1 Tbsp of vanilla or chocolate flavored protein powder
1 Tbsp unflavored psyllium husk (fiber powder)
1 Tbsp of ground flaxseed
3-4 ice cubes
Blend until smooth and Enjoy!!!
