EAMCET 2014 is the entrance examination conducted by JNTU (Jawaharlal Nehru Technological University) on the behalf of APSCHE (Andhra Pradesh state council of Higher Education) for admissions into medical, dental, engineering, agricultural professional undergrad courses. The exam will be held on 17 May 2014 across the exam centers in Andhra Pradesh.

Exam Pattern
• No mark will be cut for wrong answers i.e. negative marking.
• For correct answer, 1 mark will be credited to the candidate.
• All questions will carry equal marks.
• Language medium of the question paper will be English and Telugu.
• For Urdu language medium, candidates have to write exam at Hyderabad only.
• There shall be 160 questions in total.
• Physics – 40, Chemistry – 40, Math – 80 questions.
Eligibility Criteria
• Candidates must be Indian citizen, Overseas Citizens of India or Persons of Indian Origin.
• The age of candidates must be no less than 16 on 31 December 2014.
• It is required to participate in qualifying examination (class XII or equivalent).
• Candidates must have physics, math or chemistry as compulsory subjects in the qualifying examination.
• The minimum percentage of aggregate in the QE is 45% (all categories except reserved).
• For reserved category candidates, the minimum percentage aggregate is 40%.
Application Form
To apply for EAMCET 2014, candidates have to fill an application form which will be available from February 2014 onwards. The form can be filled only online on the official website of EAMCET. There will be no sale of physical forms. In addition to fill the form, candidates are required to remit the application fee. The fee can be paid via cash or credit/debit card. Admit Card
Candidates can download the admit card from the official website of EAMCET from April 2014 onwards. The admit card is necessary to be brought at the examination hall. Without admit card, no candidate will be allowed to enter the exam hall. Also, candidate must preserve the admit card till the admission process ends.
