This is probably a question you’ve asked yourself before, either jokingly or seriously. Am I Psychic? Have you ever thought of a friend, that you haven’t heard from in a while, and then all of a sudden you get a call from them? More recently, maybe you log onto your Facebook one day and that person has sent you a friend request. Maybe you had a dream that came true, or even an unexplainable vision come to pass. If you constantly experience weird phenomena like this, you may very well be a psychic.
Another reason you’re asking yourself ‘Am I Psychic?’ is because another medium or clairvoyant told you so. I was chatting with this guy on Xbox Live one day, (I love video games) his name was Ryan and he said that he found out he could see spirits from another clairvoyant. At the time he just shrugged it off as rubbish. But then he told me his story about when he worked at a movie theater and was cleaning up after hours.
He couldn’t explain it but he got this weird feeling that he was being watched and it felt really cold. Also he noticed one of the lights on the theater wall had burnt out. Feeling really silly he asked into the darkness ‘Is there anyone here that wishes to speak with me?’ As soon as he finished talking, the light popped on, and there was a shocked spirit standing before him. He said they talked for a few minutes and was just really excited that he was the first person who could see him. That answered his question ‘am I psychic’ that evening.
To tell you the truth I don’t really like using the work psychic, because of all the images of the fakes that it conjures. Even other terms like medium and clairvoyant are shaky. With people like Ms. Cleo and John Edwards, it’s hard for people to take questions like ‘Am I psychic’ seriously. Even worse they, make you second guess your own true psychic abilities. If you really think that you’re just experiencing coincidences, try to find the probability of a situation. There’s statistics on nearly everything today, I’m sure if you do a Google search you can find some tables or percentages.
A mysterious gland in the brain called the pineal gland has been rumored to contain the answers to the ‘Am I psychic’ question. This gland has also been nicknamed the third eye. Ancients and mystics have always held the pineal gland in high regard because of its location in the brain. To “activate” this psychic gland, when you’re meditating you should focus on the center of your head. It’s the area between the eyes and just in front of the ears. I’m not great at visual descriptions so you might want to Google the location so you can get a better idea. Imagine a golden light coming from within the gland and bathing itself with the light. This will start to awaken your psychic abilities. Dr. Rick Strassman and his test with the pineal gland even involve some of his subjects coming in contact with ‘alien beings’!
Am I psychic? By today’s definition of the word, definitely not. Do I have psychic abilities? Yes we all do and we’re all capable of developing them. Some are more naturally advanced than others. If you have any experiences, let me know, I’d love to hear them.
I consider myself a psychic because I am a clairvoyant medium. Sometimes I dream about things before they happen. This was pretty cool thanks for sharing. Lol, I also noticed that we are like the only two people who write about the paranormal here...so keep writing!
Mike, I think I tend to see "things" from time to time, i'll catch it out of the corner of my eye, and then when I quickly turn to look again, it's gone. Most times I feel as if my mind is playing tricks on me (one of my favorite songs by the Geto Boys). I also have these weird premonitions where my wife will tell me I have a sixth sense. I don't know. Who knows. Wonderful article though, I'm going to Google about the pineal gland right now.
Yeah I get that sometimes too. My buddy sees thing like that as well. There is a gentleman out there by the name of David Wilcock who talks about how reality is holographic, and then there is another gentleman name Thomas Campbell (a man of science) who has very compelling scientific evidence that what we see is a "hologram" a very real one but still a "hologram" none the less. Campbell has a great book call My Big T.O.E. (Theory of Everything). I don't know if your familiar with astral projection but he was one of the scientists who helped Robert Monoroe study the phenomena. Anyway I'm rambling, thanks for the read and if your curious about ANY of this stuff, let me know because I've been researching for a while and can most likely point you to the info you looking for. Thanks for the read!
