Coping is defined to be as the ideas and actions that are commonly used in managing stress. The feeling of being stressed relies on whether we accept the process of coping in our encounters.
An example of this coping matter is when your supervisor assigns you to accomplish a large project on a given time frame. Believing that you possess the knowledge and skills needed for the job, then you will be relief from stress.
The belief of being equipped with the techniques of coping with stress is subjective. Various individuals who are engaged on the same line of job may vary on their finis products because they vary at the same time on how they see and define things. There are different factors that are involved in the process of coping with stress; current mood, stress levels, self confidence and appreciation, previous experiences in life and availability of basic resources. The worse ones mood becomes, the more he will be stressful. So as with having the worse experiences and fewer resources will result to a more stressful mood.
There are a list of do’s and don’ts in coping with Obsessive Compulsive Disorder Stress. Living a life having the symptoms of obsessions and compulsions is in need of various approaches to adjust and manage stress. If OCD indicators are getting worse and the patient becomes frequently stressed, it is better recommended to see a doctor or any specialist of the disorder. Once medication is ineffective or does not anymore work, let the attending physician know it for early preventions and actions that can ease the condition. Never stop taking the medication believing that you will get better in time. There are also other medications and or treatment that may be appropriate for your OCD condition. If you are in doubt of your condition, be eager enough to have a background check and researches about the nature of OCD. Do not depend on hearsays or any other resources that is not proven nor authorized. If you are not at ease with your treatment or therapy it is better to let your doctor or specialist know. It is not recommended to pretend that everything is all right for it will only worsen the condition and can cause stress as well. In cases where family and friends do not understand your condition especially your symptoms of obsession and compulsion it is better to have a family therapy where you can talk and voice out your feeling. By this, you will be relief from stress and they will be aware of your feelings as well.
