This type of psychotherapy is proven by research and studies to best cure adults with ADHD. Through CBT, the depression, stress and anxiety caused by their symptoms are immediately and eventually treated by this therapy. This type of therapy usually uses the reward system or the token reward system. It encourages the patient to do well in their disorder because the only one who will best benefit this is themselves.
