There are children that are being misdiagnosed to have ADHD due to the symptoms they perform during their childhood years. Children who suffer from inattention and or hyperactive symptoms cannot be absolutely diagnosed with Attention Deficit Hyperactivity Disorder. There is a probability that misdiagnosis can happen if the case is not carefully evaluated. Research and studies show that almost 2 out of 10 ADHD patients undergo medication.
Children who are identified with the disorder usually show very short attention span and hyperactivity. Because of this, their performance in school is very much affected as well as their relationship with their friends and other family members. Children identified with the disorder must be understood by teachers and family members. They must not be reprimanded at all times because of their symptoms. Research and studies explain that patients should not be very dependent with medications and that their effects are only temporary.
Almost all processed foods especially canned goods are manufactured with various amounts of sugar. It has been found out also that sugar is addictive. Global healing center also explains that sugar can act as a poison in the body because they greatly influence its metabolism. Because of this, a number of cells may die that may affect bodily functions. Too much or excess sugar was found to affect children’s and patients’ cognitive function especially his behavior at home and performance in school. Because of this, they cannot enjoy their childhood days and that their relationship with their friends can be affected as well.
Boredom in school and at home may also be the reason why many are identified to have Attention Deficit Hyperactivity Disorder. This has been the common cause of their inattention and hyperactivity every class hours. They have very little amount of focus on their school works and on their duties at home. Because of boredom, they tend to move a lot which may cause their hyperactivity but their attention to a specific thing is very short and thereafter they cannot finish the tasks that are assigned to them. When children may have the initiative to engage themselves in other activities that can get rid of their boredom, they definitely do not have ADHD.
There is also a study explaining the influence of toxins that are found in the environment. It has been known that the more toxins a child gets around the greater the probabilities of acquiring ADHD or making every symptom worse. Yet, there has been no effective treatment found to totally cure boredom.
