Been a huge fan of Tim Burton, his countless movies, his weird crazy excellent poetry book “The Melancholy Death Of Oyster Boy” it is only fitting that costume companies have jumped on to his movie mind madness and produced some outstanding and at times, outrageous looking costumes fit for Halloween but really head turners for any Fancy dress party.

All you have to do is think of the Tim Burton Movies that have been created over the decades ( I have written an article here at Street Articles called “Tim Burton Movies-My Top 5 Favorite' you can check out if a fan) and think of all the characters such as movies like Beetlejuice to Alice In Wonderland and so on and you get the picture of countless characters you could find costumes for your fancy dress party, and most are pretty well made.

Though there are a lot of costumes I have seen (even worn) I will give my favorite three I have seen and probably some of the most popular costumes around, enjoy!

No 3 Alice In Wonderland

Now there is a reason I choose this movie and the simple reason is, just think of very whacky characters and also the wonderful Alice herself and picture the crazy costumes you can find. There are specific Tim Burton Alice styled costumes (staying very close to the movies costume) then you have an unreal wide choice of the nutty Mad Hatter and Queen Of Hearts, Tweedledum and Tweedledee, Cheshire Cat, March Hare, White Rabbit even the Caterpillar to see you are spoiled for choice. My personal pick here is the amount of crazy looking Mad Hatter costumes, hilarious.

No 2 Beetlejuice

Yep, there are a few different styles of costumes for our favorite nut job, Beetlejuice. What a brilliant character and the costumes available are pure lunatic looking and are for both men and women, but with a little make up to the face, these costumes are truly a movie mirror image. Scary and pure fun.

No 1 Edward Scissorhands

I'll put my hand up here and say wow, a lot of thought went in to the making of these costumes and they are truly unique. Edward is an unique character with that hair and of course, the scissors for hands and that all black crazy out fit you can see why it is my number one and a true fancy dress costume.

Of course, this is just my pick and there are tons more of Tim Burton movie costumes to choose from and hopefully the character you like will be found. I hope Tim keeps making these crazy movies as they really do give us a lot from enjoyable movie watching to Fancy Dress costumes such as Batman or the crazy Alice in wonderland character costumes you can get.
