Dallas Patio Furniture: Have An Outdoor Party This St Patty’s Day!

Not to state the obvious, but what better way to spend St. Patty’s day than with your Dallas patio furniture on your “patio?” Sure, there are plenty of indoor traditions on St. Patrick’s day, and they aren’t without good reason. March isn’t the most beautiful month of the year around the U.S., so many people tend to remain indoors and celebrate by enjoying a variety of cooked or boiled foods. But we Texans have the unique privilege of beautiful March weather (at least most of the time!), and we would be remiss not to use it. There are plenty of St. Patrick’s Day cuisine options suitable for the outdoors, so let’s get started:

Celebrating Outside on Dallas Patio Furniture: Try a St. Patrick’s Day Burger

It’s true: you can turn one of America’s most beloved foods into a dish celebrating Irish heritage. Grab some of your Dallas patio furniture, fire up the grill, and get grilling. It’s actually pretty simple, and Guy Gourmet outlines the burger wonderfully on Men’s Health. The recipe is even in the “nutrition” section, so you can celebrate with great burgers and no guilt.

Here's what you'll need to make the Irish burger: Russian dressing, a burger patty (of course the word “patty” comes into play on St. Patrick's Day!), cabbage, corned beef, brown sugar and bacon. This one is a definite "must try!"

Outdoor St. Patrick's Day Fun: Grill Your Corned Beef

Forget the stereotypes: expert Derrick Riches wants you to try grilling your corned beef. After all, the corned beef and cabbage we eat every year is an Irish-American tradition rather than a purely Irish one. Corned beef is nothing more than a beef brisket that has been salted in a preservation process, and if there’s one thing Texans know how to grill, it’s brisket. Derrick Riches has specific instructions on how to soak and season the beef, so take a look at his methods before pulling out your grill and patio furniture.

Outdoor St. Patrick's Day Celebration: Cook With Beer

If you need to add some variety to your outdoor party, Better Homes and Gardens magazine offers up some great recipes involving one of St. Patrick’s favorite ingredients: beer. Need an extra side to compliment the burgers? These beer-cheese hush puppies would be a perfect addition. If the weather turns towards the chillier side, warm things up with the beer and cheese soup. There’s definitely something for everyone.

If you’re planning on an outdoor St. Patty’s Day bash, call Jacksons Home and Garden at (469) 789-5440 to revamp your Dallas patio furniture. We’d love to help you get your yard ready for spring and summer parties!
