We have this thing called knowledge. We can expand it or we can choose to have its limits. It’s true that we can acquire more of it, but we can’t have it unless we are willing to do the hard work – the learning part. We gather new experiences each day. And each day is equipped with new events designed to make us better. But if we are too preoccupied on what we think we know, then further education is halted. If we always say words such as, “I know that” or “I already know this” then all the learning will come to an end.
All the answers we want is out there, if we are willing to seek for it. Some people are so caught up with what they currently know and the answers they seek for are blocked by their own ignorance. Then, they will complain of life and how badly it is turning out for them whenever problems arise. I don’t blame them for complaining. It’s just that they solely rely on their current concepts of life. You can have multiple titles next to your name and you can have the highest position in your company, but if you complain then you must lack something. Why? When you have in depth knowledge on a certain subject, no question will be too hard for you to answer. You have no time to complain about the question being too hard because you are knowledgeable about the subject – you know the answer! So if you have the knowledge you need to solve your problem, then complaining will be eradicated.
Choose to expand you knowledge. Attend seminars, trainings, or signup for an online community in which you can get the knowledge you intend to have. Also try reading books that about personal development and spirituality. Doing all these could help you be prepared whenever problems come. As a result, you become tougher. Your mentality when facing difficulties is in a far higher level. You are firm in solving situations. But if you choose not to seek more personal development, a 10km run could seem like a 500mile run. It is much difficult when you are unprepared or with little knowledge.
Again knowledge is available if you seek for it. You will not acquire any if you think you already know everything. It is our choice to get more of it. Be humble to learn!
Thanks for good reminders of how to expand your knowledge. Being humble to learn is indeed critical to life.
