Youfouria  -  Health And Well Being  -  You And Your Four Internal Aspects

Having a life that reaches Yourfouria is a challenge worth the effort. But first we must understand “What is health and well being?” Basically; How can we feel spiritually, emotionally, physically and mentally uplifted or growing these ever so personal areas of life? I believe that you need to have at least one area of interest in each of the four aspects noted above and provide a little “Me time” in each of them. In may be a hour in one or just 15 mins. in each of them; depending on your time available in each day.

(spiritually)

Weather you religious or not; you can still grow spiritually. I view this as what you have influence you or “Take in”. You may want to pray (read the WORD); to meditate (Taking in peace and clarity), others may want to listen to music that influences you in a positive impact. The key is to harmonizing yourself and connecting with other living things around you. Some may say it s a divine connection. How to grow: Give yourself 15 mins. a day to relax, reflect, pray or meditate taking in your peace/ connection.

(emotionally)

The emotional realm is one that is the “Yang” to spiritual well being. Consider this the time when you want to express positive feelings or expel negative feelings. If you are musically inclined; express yourself… good and bad. The point is to get it out. If you are not; write it down in a journal. Nurture your positive relationships and shed the negative ones. Being able to focus on your feelings and addressing them on a daily basis is so key. How to grow: Give yourself 15 mins. a day to get your feelings out… write, play an instrument /sing, or find an outlet of some sort and let it flow.

(physically)

Now this may be one that most people are familiar with. Exercise, eat right, etc. IT may sound simple but terribly daunting. Don’t let it be. Some tricks may work for you and others won’t. (eating 15min. a day doesn’t count; lol). The point is to give you the satisfaction that you did something to better your body today. It could be stretching, or yoga, maybe a nice walk, down to even an exercise routine. If these sound boring; you may like dancing, or playing a sport. How to grow: Give yourself at least 15 mins. a day to explore and implement an idea from above that interest you and within your current capabilities.

(mentally)

Last; but by no means least. Your mental or intellectual side of you must also get a daily dose of growth. If your in school; you can skip this as you do not want to overload. If not; read a book of interest or learn a new skill. If that’s not up your alley; look into doing some puzzles; fixing things around the house, etc. The key is to exercise your mind. This topic has more areas to explore than the others. Be creative. Thinking about what to do in this realm may even count as completing it. To feel the most accomplishment; learning in some respects will provide the greatest results. How to grow: Give yourself at least 15 mins. a day to grow your mind in an interest your have.

In closing; growing in these four internal areas will have a tremendous impact in your life and well being. One area’s exercise may actually impact another such as yoga may be in spiritual, emotional, and physical well being. This may cut back on your time as you explore your interests and implement these synergies. Well-being is an on going pursuit and ever changing throughout your life. Work on these four areas of yourself each day and making each day better than the last. Don’t get discouraged and enjoy this journey to a better you with these simple to follow wellness tips.
