Wonderful World of Tablets and Pads
From the times of my huge CRT monitors (back in the day), up until the present, I’ve come a long way. New technology continues to surface and amaze even the most doubtful intellect. Some examples that quickly come to mind are the Apple iPad and Android tablets.
One of the things I really like about my new mobile computer is the time it takes to boot up. We’re talking about instant access here guys, meaning seconds, and this is an awesome feature for me. When I turn on my desktop, I have to wait nearly 5 minutes for it to come on, and the same with my laptop. Don’t take a genius to figure out the benefits of opening the cover of my tablet and instantly, it’s on.
Another great asset that comes to mind is the extreme portability we can experience. Imagine pulling off to the side of the road, and instantly gaining access to Google, Bing, Yahoo search engines. In seconds you could have pulled up directions, locations to stop and eat, quick answers to those money questions being given away daily on the radio stations. And I honestly thought all those answers came from a bunch of super brains?
Choices and Costs
There are different sizes and models of these devices to suit almost everyone’s need. There’s the “Smoking Hot Apple iPad”, the “Fabulous Samsung Galaxy Note”, and the “Gorgeous Google Nexus”. All of these are truly an amazing array of mobile computers. Now my pick of the 3 would be the Samsung Galaxy Note android tablet. Not taking anything away from the others, this is just my favorite.
Honestly guys, when comparing function, portability, and costs, the tablets and pads are by far, pound for pound, the most bang for your buck, or mine. Prices range from the iPad 2 for $85, Nexus 7 for $229 or the Galaxy Note 10.1” for $699. This is just a broad range, but to get true costs, just search online for the one that best fit your needs and budget.
What We've Learned?
So far, we've only touched on a few topics in this article. There is a whole lot more information to be found about tablets and pads than what we've discussed here. My aim was to introduce the basic opinions I have from years of experience, buying, using, fixing, and troubleshooting computers and their counterparts. I hope this writing has shared some information you will find most useful in choosing the items that is right for you.
