Read Reviews
Many sites online will take a look at some of the popular headphone options that you have and help you determine which one is right for you. Because you can’t try out headphones before you buy them, go online and try to find an affordable pair based on what others have to say. You won’t find a review that is more honest than one that is written by a fellow internet user.
Decide Style
With headphones there are to main options that you have to look at, over the ear headphones, and in ear headphones. Many runners have a preference to in ear headphones be they are much smaller and are easier to fit into your ear, however if you don’t make sure that you have the right fit for your headphones before you go out for a run you are going to run into a few problems. If you go with an in ear headphone – as most runners do – make sure that you find one that you are comfortable with wearing for an extended period of time, you never know how long your next run will be.
Wireless vs Cord
Right now even though there are wireless headphones options available, wired headphones are still the more popular options because they tend to be a little bit cheaper. If you have the money and you can afford it, you should consider leaning towards the wireless ears. These earbuds are designed to not only stay in your ears while you move, but you don’t have to worry about the cord getting in your way. When it comes down to wireless are some of the best earbuds for running, but according to consumers, wired pairs still win the battle.
Choosing a good pair of headphones is much easier than you think, by taking a look at the points above, you can find the very best earbuds for running.
I'm not a runner, but still want my headphones to stay in my ears while working out. If they pop out while on certain machines, I have to wait for a whole set before I can stop and use my hands again to put them back in. So annoying.
For me fit is as important as sound. It's a real pain having to readjust them when at the gym
My next set of ears are definitely going to be wireless. I hate how the wires are alway hanging up on things and then I end up having to replace them because of the wire I just pulled out of the earpiece. Thanks for the info that will help as I shop for my next pair of earbuds.
