Creating a personal fitness plan is important for everybody who is looking to be healthy in their lives, whether you are a complete beginner, or an everyday gym rat, a fitness plan will be your success plan. At one point or another you have tried a plan and stuck to it, or just failed and gave up, and might have thought to yourself that you may need some type of personal fitness advice. A reasonable amount of time that someone can see results may vary according to diet, work ethic, and simply time management. It doesn't have to be hard and it's all about priorities, just find your motivation and get after it.
Every plan requires hard work if you want it to be successful of course. This means your personal fitness plan will also require hard work, if you are tired of being unsatisfied with yourself for whatever reason(physical appearance, mental reasson) that you may grow as an individual and become better than what you thought was ever possible. Now the things that you thought were hard are now becoming more and more approachable, and becoming easier to you now that you see yourself get stronger mentally and physically. Lifting weights will get your body strong, but it is your mind that is your strongest muscle. Having the power to say yes, I am going to overcome my fears, having that new confidence that was not there before is that mental edge that most people do not. That will make you powerful, and it starts with hard work in the gym, at work, in your diet, and that will help create the vision you have for yourself as a truly stong individual. Having that plan to live a healthy lifestyle will only help you throughout your life to be a better person, just work hard at it and put some thought into want you want to accomplish.
Making a personal fitness plan has three basic principles: gym time, nutrition, and time management. You can have the best workouts, but your slacking on your diet, or having a wonderful diet but not finding the time to commit four to five days a week in the gym. That's at its basics what it come down to.
Gym time, very important obviously. Why? Because this is where you put in the hard work so the results show later. Put in the hard work now, so the results will speak for themself. Go into the gym with that mindset of accomplishing something, and getting better everyday. Set goals for yourself, for example, last week I did 10 repititions of 135 pounds on bench press and I want to do 145 this week. Continue to challenge yourself, to overcome obstacles and you will become successful. The gym teaches you hard work and discipline, so that when you get out of there everything else seems easier. Why not give yourself that mental edge?
Nutrition. Everyone knows that if they want to lose weight they probably shouldn't be eating pizza, burger&fries, and sodas all the time. There's no way you can think this is healthy, and if you do, it's not!! So get the very basics at least, vegetables, lean protein, and good carbs, and fruits. Drink plenty of water, and occasionally treat yourself to a meal that you feel you deserve. You should be eating to fuel your body, not so much to satisfy your taste buds. So be smart and plan out your meals, and even prepare weekly meals all at once, so they can be ready to take to work or to school or wherever.
Time Management. If you know you already have trouble with this then you need to change something. You all know the definition of insanity right? Ok, then change, use a planner if you have to, a notebook, your smartphone since I'm pretty sure most if not all people use one. Plan out your day, your week, your month, and even sometimes your year since time is absolutely precious, and you need to take advantage of every possible day towards your goal. Do your best everyday, try hard and try your best everyday and you will see progress.
So creating a personal fitness plan is something to think about, there will not be a specific plan that fits everyone, not possible, but you can stick to the basics. The basics are again doing the proper work in the gym, getting the proper nutrition to fuel your body, and finding time in your busy schedule to live a healthy life style. Finding a personal fitness plan doesn't have to be hard, so don't make it. So creating a personal fitness plan shouldn't be that hard! Goodluck!
