As a woman whose interested in getting into shape, it is more than likely that the P90X program will provide the results you want. However, there isn't much information other than before and after pictures on the internet from real women who have actually tried the program and how it worked for them and if there is, it's tough to find. This article will help make that search easier and help pretty much any women interested know if the P90X gets results for women in general.
As a whole, the program's results are individual based. Although the format for the program is the same for men as it is for women, how you do the program and how your body reacts to it will gives you different results than other people.
For those of you who don't know how the program works, here's the quick summary: You work out for 6 days out of the week. Workouts last about an hour and you're required to eat a strict diet that changes every 30 days. Overall the program lasts for 90 days.
Although you will see results from this program, most noticeably in the arms and gluts, be prepared to commit yourself because a lot of women who try this program, quit. The main reason for quitting is the overwhelming amount of demand needed to complete this program.
It isn't just the workout schedule, it's also the dieting that's difficult. If you're someone who isn't already in shape or at least somewhat in shape, you'll encounter many difficulties trying to complete this program.
Finally there is also the likelihood of injury which happens quite often with this program due to a lot of weight lifting. Back injuries can occur quite often and the workout itself is very intensive on the knees and joints. If you're a woman who has any back/knee/joint issues, it would be advised to not try this program.
However, if you can look past all of these potential hazards, then you will find the results from using the P90X will get you a great body. If you manage to finish the 90 day program successfully, you will see a very noticeable difference in your shape.
One other thing to note is that once you finish the program, you do need to continue working out in some sort of routine to maintain results. Overall the program does provide excellent results for women. Some of the before and after pictures for women using the P90X are indeed incredible, but remember, in order to get those results, you must be committed to this program!
