UAB Summer Basketball Camp  -  Ronald Steele Returns Home to Conduct Summer Boys Basketball Camp This July at UAB

Ronald Steele is a standout men’s basketball player at the University of Alabama and a native of Birmingham, AL. He will return home to conduct a unique boys basketball camp at the UAB Campus Recreational Center, 1501 University Boulevard, Birmingham, AL, from July 15 to 18, 2013 from 6:00 to 9:00 P.M. each evening. The camps combine teaching important basketball skills combined with a program that promotes healthy eating and taught mental approaches that combined will maximize results on and off the court.

Steele will run two camps for separate age groups during the week. On Monday and Tuesday, July 15 and 16, he will conduct a camp – Offensive Secrets – for all boys, ages 12 to 15. On Wednesday and Thursday, July 17 and 18, Steele will teach a camp – Elite Shooting Techniques – for boys, ages 16-18. In addition to the basketball skills being taught, Steele will share tips on healthy eating habits and important foods to eat and will provide details on how to mentally prepare for game performance in utilizing a proven training system that addresses health and mental preparation. If you are interested then each camp is $100. I am sure that you will learn a lot of cool stuff!

Steele, who honed his skills locally in Birmingham, AL, growing up, is currently a member of the Tofas professional basketball team in Bursa, Turkey. Below are Steele’s basketball related awards.

Organic Hoopz is a training model Steele will utilize in his camps to teach basketball skills, and prepare the participants physically, nutritionally, and mentally to compete at the highest level. “Using the Organic Hoopz Training System has saved my career,” says Steele. “I have been injury free, shot 90% from the free throw line, and am in the best shape of my life thanks to the system.’

This camp could be the youth answer to be physical fit! There is nothing more that the young like to do other than play basketball. It is even all around us day to day. It is on the television. It is also going on at the school that they attend. This camp is for the youth so come on and lets play ball!
