Dogs are known to be man’s best friend. You have to treat them like humans. Professional dog trainers have dedicated their time in specializing how to train and educate dogs. They are the ones who will help us when it comes to dog training. Without a doubt, they really have many unquestionably things to tell us. However, when it comes to your pet it is you who can be the best trainer. After all, of all the people, you are the one who knows your pet. You can start by training them personally by doing simple commands that your dog will surely pursue. But before you can do this, you have to create some bonding time with your pets.

You are their sole master. For that reason, definitely they will comply with you. You can start by knowing the outlook of your pet. You also have to make sure that it is the proper age to be trained. It is best when it is still a puppy because you can institute early on that you are his master. Puppies have lots of active energy before he turns 6 months. Because of this he is more eager to learn.

However, if your dog is at middle age or an adult dog, you can still train them as long as you want to. It is also possible especially when a certain dog came from a nice environment and it doesn’t have any hurtful incident. Besides if you already know your pet, there is no problem in dealing with them especially with their feelings. So if you’re ready enough, now is the time that you train your own dog. One more thing is you have to learn how to control your dog. Be consistent with your rules and your words in teaching them. Bear in mind that it is not the exact words that make your pet abide by, but the sound of it.

On the other hand, it would be better to use the same words all the time to avoid misunderstanding. Do not be carried away with your pet’s sorry eyes for it only wants an additional treats from you. Bribery can lead to a spoiled pet. Just give what is due to them for having a job well done and every good act. This will serve as a reward to your pet and it will know that is has done something great.

Still, if your pet becomes rebellious you have to and learn how to correct it. Execute this in a pleasant approach. Pleasant approach means that you don’t have to hurt your pet physically and mentally. Meaning you don’t have to kick them, spank or yell at them. Being compassionate sometimes is good, but be sure to correct their mistakes next time they commit some. Let the dog take a short break during training. This will help them to absorb what they learn from you. They also get tired and if you force them they can no longer take in what you are teaching them.

Finally, praise your dog in every job well done to make them willing to learn more from you. It is also a way of increasing your pet’s confidence. Having your own dog training does not only generates a well trained dog but it also allows you to have quality time with your dog. With every fun and exciting training that you have for your pet, it will create a good rapport between you and your pet.
