What is it that makes Clicker Training the favorable training method on the market today? Just like any other successful programs, it's crucial to have a well-organized technique that is very prosperous. It also helps that the price is much-cheaper than the training schools for pets that are way over-priced. Furthermore, it's very simple to comprehend and instruct the procedure to your pets. The question is how is it a little plastic box, that makes a clicking sound can make your pet obey your commands?
The main reason-why it is so effective is because you are performing a "positive reinforcement training method." This way your actually rewarding behaviors, instead of punishing your pet when they do something inappropriate. By using this formula repeatedly, your pet's behavior will begin to transform and you will-be-amazed how quickly you recognize a change in behavior.
If you follow the steps provided for you, than you will notice an improvement within a few weeks. Remember, pets are smart and the more you challenge them in the correct-manner, the better they will respond. When you "click" and your pet performs the action given, you reward them with a treat. Eventually, your pet will pick up on the process and the "clicker" will be your best weapon. Spending about ten minutes per day administering this technique is all that is necessary to have the success you need to remedy your pet's behavior issues.
Pet owners always ask me if "positive praise" would-be enough training to alter their pet's behaviors? The reason-why this method is not enough is because every-time you "praise" your pet. You are Unknowingly, using a tone and it is very difficult to consistently use the same tone all-of-the time. Consistency is the key here and that's what you have to embed into your pet's brain.
Animals can read your body language very well, so it's important they don't receive mixed signals because of your different moods. It's not much different from how humans learn, we also use a repetitive process to comprehend the data easier. Personally, I love this method because no physical harm comes to the animals.
In conclusion, if more pet owners would use this method, than their lives would be much more manageable to control. Especially, the larger families with several pets and children. It can-be very chaotic sometimes and you just want to pull the hair out of your head at times. That is why I am trying to get the word out there, so more people can take advantage of this miraculous method.
Robert, Yes! I remember all kinds of similar training experiments from school. My psychology of learning studies included, "Rat lab!" Clean, cute, little white lab rats learning all kinds of incredible tasks. blessings, Cynthia
Wow, that's pretty cool! Did you have to do the old rat in the maze expirement?
Robert, Thanks. Nope! I trained the rats to press bars and do other stuff. In particular sequences at that. A friend who went on to become a doctor in the US Navy did much more interesting experiments than I did. I got to help feed those rats and learn about those studies. blessings, Cynthia
Cynthia, that's pretty cool to be able to teach them that! Kudos.
Yeah, it's amazing how well it works. I first heard about it from a tv show on animal planet and the guy was able to transform some bad behaviored pets. Within a few weeks of the pet owners using his methods they were finally at peace. It was really cool!!
