Just for 2013, the Department of Defense is going to sustain another year of military effort in Afghanistan with $88 billion dollars. At the same time, defense cuts for the same period is between $57 to $63 billion dollars.
Since 2001 military effort in Afghanistan, these are just a few of the problems:
- Blue on Green Attacks in Afghanistan:
- Suicide
- P.T.S.D.
- Casualties from the war
- Unemployed, homeless and incarcerated veterans
- High rate of divorce among military troops
- Long-term separation of military families
- Sexual violence in the military
By modernizing the military doctrine, it would enable the Department of Defense to adapt Family Friendly Military with all these benefits:
“Soldiers Arrive Alive and Safe” - A comprehensive prevention program designed to drastically reduce government cost and protect all US Military personnel and their families from:
1. P.T.S.D.
2. I.E.D. (by using strategies instead of technologies)
3. Suicide
4. Sexual Assault
5. Domestic Violence and all types of violent crimes
6. Blue-On-Green Attacks (Afghanistan)
7. Eliminate long-term separation from their respective families
8. Eliminate any possibility of sequestration (job security)
9. Stabilize the financial capabilities, education and future of all Military Families
10. Protect the nation from terrorism and all types of violent crimes
11. Eliminate homelessness and unemployment of veterans from all wars
12. Avoid budget cuts of any Military Family Programs
Modernizing military doctrine means learning and adapting Modern Isolation System which the military is currently not capable of at this time. Modern Isolation System is designed to:
1. Isolate civilians from insurgents
2. Identify insurgents without the use of any technology
3. Keep civilians and military troops safe from insurgent attack/s
4. Keep tab of insurgent’s locations, strengths, capabilities at all times
5. Eliminate 100% threats from I.E.D.s by using strategies instead of technologies
6. Eliminate all threats from Blue on Green attacks
7. Drastically reduce cost of military operations between eighty (80%) to ninety (90%) percent in Afghanistan
8. Minimize the inflow of physically and mentally challenged soldiers (P.T.S.D., suicide, etc.) into the System of the Department of Veterans Affairs by a minimum of 20%
9. Eliminate all types of waiting list at the Department of Veterans Affairs to better serve our veterans, without the need to raise the department’s annual budget
Overall, instead of $88 billion dollars for 2013, the savings would be ninety percent (90%) or about $80 billion dollars. That's tremendous amount of money to save while our troops are safe with their families. This would prevent the projected $57 to $63 billion defense cuts to sustain creating jobs in the modernization of military arms and equipment to keep the balance of power in the Asia-Pacific Region.
