There are many theories on how to lose belly fat, but there are only a few of them that really work. You see your belly is where the body puts majority of it's fat that it gets from the food you eat. So that's is why it's so important to have a healthy diet. There are four ways to cut belly fat that i will be discussing in the following paragraphs. If followed correctly you will be on you way to a flat stomach in no time.
The first way to cut belly fat is to eat the right foods. A lot of people eat fatty, greasy foods, and they think because they workout that they can still obtain that flat stomach. This is a bad way of thinking when it comes to losing belly fat because your just working aganist yourself. You see to lose belly fat it takes more then just working out, although when combned with a good diet exercise is the most affective way to lose belly fat. But you have to do both to see the best results. Some good foods to eat are salads, baked fish, lean meats, baked chicken.
You will always want to include brocoli, green beans, corn and other fruits and vegtables. Try to stay away from fried foods, sugar filled foods and drinks, spicey foods, heavy seasoned foods. Alwaya eat your last meal before 6:00p.m. these are just a few tips to follow to cut back on that unwanted belly fat.
The second way to lose belly fat is to exercise, but it must be targeted exercise you see anyone can get in the gym and exercise and most time there building up every other muscle except your mid section. Your stomach muscles are different the any other muscles in your body. To obtain that flat belly you must do targeted exercise, meaning you must do work outs that pertain directly to your belly.
These belly workouts should be 4 to 5 times a week and a hour and a half a day combined with other workouts. Only do what you can stand, do not over work your mid section or you will experience belly cramps. Which is basically a strained or over worked muscle in your belly, this can be very painful so always pase yourself during workouts. If your just starting out a hundred sit ups a day is a good start. They should be seperated in five sets, with each set being 20 reps and a break in between each set.
The third way to cut belly fat is to keep your stress level under control. You see stress can affect your cortisole levels which controls the way your body stores fat. To much stress can also make you do things like eat fatty or sweaten foods which can also cause belly fat. Some ways to keep stress under control is to sretch and relax your body, working out also reduce stress, or just going for a walk, doing thirty minutes on the tread mill, taking hot baths or showers, talking to someone, or just a massage, it all depends on what works for you. Sometime its best to just figure out what's stressing you out and wonder if it's really worth your health. I know for me most of the time is small things that i should not even be worrying about. At least not to the point where it's affecting my health.
The fourth way to lose belly fat is to have the right mind. You can workout, eat right, and keep your stress level low but if you have a compromise mind then it wont last. You see to lose weight you have to make up in your mind that this is what you want to do and nothing will get in the way of you completing this task. If you working out each day depends on your feelings then you don't have the right mind set. To lose belly fat you should be thinking positive, and doing exercise should be part of your everyday life just like eating is. The type of mind you should have is a determined, dedicated, driven, positive one that is constantly making sacrifices to obtain a healthy goal for yourself.
These are just important tips to follow if you want to lose that belly fat. It's always important to remember to lose belly fat it's a combination of things that you must do to be successful. Once you master all four steps you will be well on you way to obtaining that flat belly in no time.
