Since showing up on popular TV shows, the Pink Method has captivated audiences all over the U.S and is likely to become the most popular and sought after weight loss & fitness program. But many people want to know exactly what they're getting before they do and this article gives a sneak peak into the Pink Method diet.
Firstly the P.I.N.K Method stands for: Power, Intensity, Nutrition & Kardio and it isn't just a diet, but a quasi diet and fitness program that's combined all in one to give a full body transformation over a period of 80 days. This article sticks mostly to the dieting aspect of the program since explaining both it and the weight loss program will probably take up alot of space! So here's exactly what the Pink Method diet really is:
The Pink Method diet is really 4 different diets, with each diet meant to change your eating habits, reach your weight loss goal and adopt a healthier lifestyle in the process. The length of each diet differs based on the individual, but here is a quick summary of each:
Diet #1, also known as the "Pink Reset". All that's basically done here is for 2 weeks straight, users eat mostly protein rich foods. Food options are pretty limited during the first diet, but it gets easier as you enter diet #2.
Diet #2, also known as the "Pink Primary". The reason it's called the primary is because out of all the 4 diets, this is the longest and the reason for that is that users follow this diet until they are about 5-10 pounds from their weight loss goal. This is where individuality comes into play. For the most part, users continue a protein rich diet, but are now also allowed more vegetables as well as special fat burning foods.
Diet #3, is known as the "7 Day Shred". It's purpose is to eliminate those last 5-10 pounds. Essentially this diet is a "Plateau" diet since alot of people have trouble getting rid of those last pounds, this helps put an end to that as it involves a combination of eating fat burning foods & eating whats known as a "Shred soup" which your body digests easily and helps burn fat.
The final diet, called "Pink Preservation" isn't really a diet, but rather a long term plan in which you are given a special plan to follow to maintain your results.
When taking into account all factors, the Pink Method does deliver. Though like any other diet or fitness program, commitment is necessary in order to acheive the results you wish. With the Pink Method, results do vary based on individuals, but the overall approach to fitness and dieting that it uses does work.
