The 3 Day Diet Plan - Is It Safe?

When you search for the details about the 3 day diet online, you will find tons of junk pages. Even after all of the latest purges by the search engines, there still remains a vast wasteland of misinformation about this particular diet.

So, I decided to do a little bit of investigating to learn more about it.

The first step was to gather the basic facts circulating around the Internet. At least there appeared to be a consensus about most of the items included. That made the job a lot easier.

Then it seemed logical to do a thorough nutritional analysis for each of the three days. After examining the results, it was obvious that this particular diet is totally safe. The calorie count is quite low, but the balance of carbohydrates, fats and proteins wasn't out of whack.

All of the ingredients are everyday items that you would find in any grocery store. Things like eggs, bread and carrots for example. That is probably why this diet is so very popular worldwide. Nothing would be expensive or unusual. There are no supplements required, but taking a multivitamin every day is allowed.

It is recommended that after the three days of following this diet that you should go back to your regular and established eating habits. So how could you have a problem with this? That's right, you can't go wrong!

There is no way to get into trouble even if you get the measurements confused. I mean, is it so terrible to eat two apples instead of one? Or even more shocking, what if you ate an extra cup of broccoli? That would be really life threatening - oh my!

With my digital camera I decided to photograph every item on this diet to make it super easy to follow. That way, all ambiguity about exactly what to buy would be avoided; thus saving you precious money and time.

Happiness swept over me because I realized that I could summarize these findings in a coherent way to help others who may be interested.

I organized the information about the diet and presented it in a beautiful graphical manner on a squidoo webpage. There is even a shopping list of what to get. Included are beautiful photos of every ingredient to make it easy to figure out.

In my opinion, it is worth the effort to use this diet to get a start on a real diet plan, and to answer the question in the title: is it safe? The answer is a big yes, however I would try it and go from there onto something long term. Let's face it, we all know that increasing grains, fruit and vegetables, while reducing meat and high carbohydrate foods will help.

Good luck!
