There is no way that I am going to weigh 200lbs! This is not going to happen. I say! I will stop eating food! I will only eat this type of diet. Like cabbage and lemon teas. Sure, some of the weight goes. But what will happen when I have to eat a piece of meat or other types of food. So I guessed after dropping 15lbs that when I wanted to eat again, I would go right back up the scale. I learned quick that if I wanted to lose weight it had to happen while I still partook of food. So I excluded sweet loven foods. Oh the chocolates, the deep fried goods. Life with out you would prove to be all together to much!
So I learn that portion is a very strong element to success in taking off unneeded weight. I began eating less. I still ate pretty much any thing I had before. Just less of it. I started becoming aware of my body. I developed a sensitivity to milk and such products. I would have an ice cream and blow up, with gas and uncomfortable cramps. No thank you to the cone next time! As I shed a few pounds, I found another one of those places where the weight would not budge.
So I started to jog. I jogged up the hills by my mountain home. I found my self more motivated then ever. I really wanted to see what my body looked like with no fat on it. Or as little as possible. I also had my husband go out of town for work. This made me want to change as much as I could with out him here. I forced myself a few too many times. I also learned to be more aware of my posture while running. I did lots of reading and made sure that I was jogging naturally. Not hitting the ground to hard. Keeping in mind that air is very important to that muscles carrying me. I must breath with a purpose. Fill my lungs consistently. Be set in place as I move. My body must be tight. I imagine my muscles flexing. Holding my stance. Moving my arms and holding pace, all key in jogging with success. The most beautiful dog next to me helps me keep my pace. Lady is her name. She holds ground against the bears and cows and any other animals we see out in the wilderness. Thank you Lady! Your my Lady, Lady, Lady xo
As I began jogging, I was reading the wheat belly book. Did I learn more? Oh yah! This book answered the questions to why after the exercise and portion control, I would not pass that point of 20lbs over weight. I developed a new plan. I discovered that I needed to take the wheat out of my body. This would be the answer to other things as well. The sugar also had to go. The major pain I would go through to pass my bowls, would finally end! This was the last key I needed to make sense of my over weight problem. Now I know food can make my body respond to the things I put into it. How it effects me is in my control. I will still eat an ice cream, but I also wont complain later when the pain is kicking my butt!
I am finally bouncing back and forth between 145-155lbs. It depends on whether or not I have had to much sweets. Also if I have been going up the road for my jog. It does come and go, the feeling that I enjoy jogging. During the times that I am not jogging, I try to keep stretching. So I wont get stiff. This happens in a few days of only moving around the house and stores. I really need to stay consistent. My mom told me that it is hard to care for a large person when they are old and not independent anymore. I thought that I did not want my kids to have to care for my heavy body. So I wanted to lose weight. Now I feel like I want to do my best so that they my never have to care for me when I am old. But only when I am dying. I just want to be all I am called to be.
I want to put life into my years and years onto my life.
