Discover Why Women Leave A Relationship - husband

There is nothing like that feeling of walking on air when a man and a woman first get together. Those first few months or even years are euphoric--there is a physical, mental, and emotional connection. Ultimately, the couple decides to get married and begin the rest of their lives together. Unfortunately, it only works out half of the time. There are a variety of reasons for the demise of a relationship. Sometimes it is just too much work to keep the relationship moving. Sometimes there is infidelity. Sometimes people just decide they want something different. Regardless, there are a lot of reasons why women leave their husbands. The hard part is knowing when it is time to cut their losses and move on, and when to stay invested in the marriage.

We live in a society where people frequently love the idea of being in a marriage. Girls dream of the fairy tale wedding and fairy tale marriage, often overlooking one of the biggest factors--the husband. They get so swept up in the dream, they often overlook the reality of what it is like to work at a marriage. This is actually one of the biggest reasons why women leave their husbands in this day in age. Once the fog clears, and real life begins, they realize the partnership takes a lot more than a pretty dress and a gift registry from Tiffany's. It requires a lot of work, and sometimes women just aren't willing to invest the time and effort into making the marriage work when they realize just what lies ahead of them.

In other circumstances, the reason why women leave their husbands is because both partners have changed. It is positively true that people truly do grow apart. It is not something which happens overnight. It can take years, and sometimes even decades to realize that two people ultimately want different things. When all is said and done, sometimes a marriage grows into a mere cohabitation--a couple behaving more like roommates than partners. In cases like these, it is best to part as amicably as possible and move on to pursue true happiness and inner peace.

There are certainly other more complicated reasons why women leave their husbands. Sometimes there is control, abuse, neglect, or infidelity. While cases like these may seem cut and dried, these are often the most difficult relationships to grasp. While it seems a woman should leave her husband for being abusive or unfaithful, all too often these are the women who stay. When they finally do get out of the destructive relationship, it is as a mere shell of who they once were.

It has been said that 50% of marriages end in divorce. It is a startling statistic to grasp because marriage is something which should not be entered into lightly. Unfortunately, though, it seems in today's society the idea of marriage has been built up in many women's minds to be a fairy tale. Once reality sets in, many women find themselves running for the hills. In other circumstances, the demise of the marriage is more subtle, and happens gradually. In what seems obvious cases, there is some sort of neglect, abuse, control, or infidelity. There are a lot of reasons why women leave their husbands, but it is the smart woman who knows when to cut their losses and move on to live another day and possibly love again.
