Why I'd Like To Attend A Blogging Breakfast

I love having a blog. I enjoy writing and publishing, and I find it exciting to see how many people have read my articles. I also enjoy being my own boss and learning at my own pace. I get ideas for many of my articles from headlines I read online as well as from personal experiences. I then write articles inspired by these ideas. I write and publish at home, often while watching television or listening to music. This arrangement works well for me, since I am an introvert. However, something is missing: a chance to connect and interact with other bloggers.

I would love to meet other people who publish online, like I do. I would enjoy learning how and why they started blogging, how successful they have been with it, and what their goals are. One way for this to happen is with a blogging breakfast.

I imagine that the event would play out something like this. We would arrive at the conference room of one of the motels in my town. We would each get a nametag, and we would walk into the room, sit down at the table, and wait for the event to begin. While we waited, we could introduce ourselves to those around us. Then, when it was time for the event to begin, the leader would come into the room, close the door, and step up to the podium. He would welcome us, and we would get in line to get our breakfast.

A blogging breakfast would likely not have messy foods such as French toast, waffles, sausage, biscuits and gravy, grits, or fried eggs. Most likely, we would have coffee and a pastry of some sort. We would get our food and return to the table. Then the presentation would begin.

The speaker would likely talk about what a unique experience blogging is. He might talk about blogging’s pitfalls, such as the fact that a blogger does not gain many followers overnight and that it requires patience and persistence to stick with online publishing long enough to earn money with it. He might also give us tips on how we can be more successful with our blog.

An event like this would be a unique and memorable experience. I would be able to network with other bloggers and learn from them. I could then come home after the breakfast and write an article about the experience.
