Anytime you open your mouth you are selling yourself. It's just that most people suck at it .
Becoming the master of selling yourself takes time and effort , and you learning some new skills.
A good definition for selling is the ability to write , design , paint , invent , create, compose or accomplish anything to the point of creating a desire in the mind of the buyer to buy.
You may not be selling physical goods . You may be selling an idea , speech , rule , or trying to get a girl or guy to like you.
No matter the product , the art of selling yourself is the same.
Before I get to the 3 easy steps, lets go over the mindset you must have before you start the process of selling yourself or your products.
First and foremost you must believe in the product or the service that you are selling.
Sounds simple enough right , but you would be surprise how many people start the process of selling with no believe in what they are saying or selling.
The first mistake can be easily spotted , because it shows up as a lack of enthusiasm in the presentation.
Research into the mind of your buyer is knowing your buyers wants, needs, fears.
Research into the mind of your buyer also gives you instant creditability and relatability.
Many amateur sell women/man stand in front of a person without knowing one thing about their buyers . Your opinion will not work , you must speak your buyers needs , wants , and desires.
Don't make this mistake do your research before you start your process of selling.
1. The first step is mental preparation . Seeing yourself in your minds eye making the sell before you start.
This will give you direction and forethought before you start the process of selling. If you can't see yourself making the sell before you open your mouth then it is surely a done deal that you won't .
2. Neutralize the mind of your buyer. All fears , wants and questions should be answered before they are even asked . This step comes into place after you have done your research into the mind of your buyer.
3. Ask for the sell. Having the mindset that the buyer is there to buy , so ask for the sell.
Don't wait for the buyer to make the first move , you jump in and ask for the sell.
