The Soldiers Come Home!

After 9 years of fighting the soldiers come home. A war that began in 2003 when George Bush was president today 10/21/2011 Barack Obama announces to the American people that the soldiers are coming home at the end of this year. This news is very exciting for entire United States of America.

This news is very exciting but what about the big picture have we forgot about the social economic status, the recession. There are not enough jobs for the people who live in the United States right now. What about when the soldiers come back how are they suppose to provide for their families. I am sure that there are still plenty of soldiers who are in the reserves and still have some time to their contract.

What about the soldiers whose contracts expire this year. With such an unpredictable economy that is to say that the Army will sign a new contract with them. Even though I am very excited to see the soldiers return. I still am worried about the jobs.

What is to say the United States won’t go back to Iraq and clean up all the damage that was caused over there? Where are we going to get the money for that? With the unemployment rate rising every time I turn on the TV. what is suppose to happen? Is there a miracle that is coming that I don’t know about?

On the other hand the soldiers coming home can turn the recession around. More money going to the states could bring more jobs. This could also result in more homes being sold and company’s staying in business. This could also result in house prices going up and more people moving back to the cities.

What about the actual truth, “are the soldiers really coming home”? I mean how many times have we heard that from the George Bush. Not to mention that president Barack Obamas re-election is coming up. Could he be doing what presidents before him have done could he be trying to make things happen in order to get himself re-elected. Let’s not forget that the news hides a lot from the public to keep peace and avoid rioting and chaos.

With so many questions be asked are answers cannot be certain. Even though we know that the soldiers coming home will be a huge change for the world. There is one thing were certain about is that it will bring many smiles that have been longing to come out. It will relieve the worries of mothers, wifes, girlfriends, and grandparents. It will not only brighten the world but change are hearts. With positives like this the negatives seem little if not present at all.
