Don't worry I'm not going to rant and rave about religion in this article. I am, however, going to vent about something that is truly upsetting and dear to my heart: The Wendy's Frosty.
A couple of days ago I went to Wendy's. It was pretty late at night, and I figured I would get a Frosty to reward myself for a hard days work. I forgot to order it when I ordered the rest of my food, so I asked them to add it to my order at the window. I was then informed that they only had the vanilla frosty. My heart sunk.
I've known about their vanilla "frosty" for sometime now, and it always confuses me. I mean if it's not chocolate then it's not a frosty. I don't know why they insist on calling it frosty. They should instead call it "Vanilla soft serve" or "Vanilla imitation frosty", but don't call it a Frosty. The term Frosty should only be used when describing the chocolate version of their dessert.
*big exhale* Ok, I feel better now. This did remind me of another one of Wendy's horrible ideas: The Coca-Cola float. I remember trying it a couple of years ago in Virginia and it was absolutely horrible. Not even close to being a root beer float. Wendy's if you're reading this then "stop trying to be A&W, it's not going to happen". I'm not even sure if they have it anymore. Hopefully, they saw the light and quit making it.
This is slightly off topic, but I have noticed that the fast food places have been getting smarter about the lids. I was recently at Los Angeles International Airport and I decided to grab McDonald's for a quick lunch before I left on my next flight. It had been probably a good five to six months since the last time I ate at McDonald's. The first thing I noticed was when they handed me my cup was that the top of the lid was pushed down.
If you remember the lid used to be pushed up. If they over filled the cup you would get soda running down the side of the cup when you put your straw in. I thought it was a pretty smart idea. Now if they over the fill the cup, the soda is just going to go into the recessed area of the lid, instead of down the side of the cup. I did order a large, but I normally get their medium sized meal. Maybe that's why I've never noticed their lid before.
Well it's time for me to contemplate the more serious issues of life like "How come the only time people who drive slow drive fast, is to prevent cars going faster than them from cutting in front of them?"
