Are tobacco cigarettes the better choice when it comes to choosing an electronic cigarette over one? What are the pros of electronic cigarettes? What are the pros of cigarettes? To smoke or not to smoke, that is the question.
For Carcinogenic use:
Cigarettes are quick and easy to get. Trying to quit? Let's face it, it's going to be pretty tough with all those cigarette products at liquor stores, shopping malls, and supermarkets during the holiday season. Especially, when the nearest liquor store is a block away. Psychology has spoken and has found that the more a person is exposed to something, the more they're willing to accept it. This means that the more you see cigarettes, the more you are going to want to smoke.
Cigarettes are a stress reliever. Nicotine, when inhaled releases of neurotransmitters and hormones that can induce feelings of relaxation and sharpness. Nicotine can be absorbed in many forms such as chewing tobacco, nicotine patches, and in electronic cigarettes.
When you are out at a party this season, it certainly is easy to to light up a few cigarettes with friends and good company with a couple drinks. It’s the holidays, so why not spurge a little? You can always set another new years resolution to quit... just like the one you made last year.
For Electronic cigarettes:
E-cigarettes are a much better alternative in the area of health and safety. Surely, we've all gotten the cold hard facts about the damages that cigarettes can do to your body (e.g. bad teeth, premature wrinkling of the skin, heart disease, lung damage) but it simply couldn't hurt to list those things again, just in case you've forgotten. Electronic Cigarettes emulate the same sensation as cigarettes, however, with greatly reduced adverse health effects. Instead of smoking, they vaporize liquids that contain nicotine. These special liquids contain only a few active ingredients: Propylene Glycol, an organic compound used to produce vapor, Vegetable Glycerin, which is derived from plant oil, and Nicotine.
In the long run, electronic cigarettes are much cheaper. Think about how much the average addicted smoker smokes. If the average smoker smokes one pack a day, that's $6/one pack, multiply that by seven days you get $42 dollars a week. That's about $168 dollars a month you could spent on rent or a couple of mouth-watering steaks at Mastro's. This isn't some crazy fancy calculus I'm doing here; it's just simply money-saving arithmetic.
Electronic cigarettes are compact; about the size of a ballpoint pen. They are portable and reusable. Did you know that you can also use them indoors in most areas? They are completely smoke free and does no contribute to any second hand smoke whatsoever.
Like the taste of tobacco? With electronic cigarettes, you have the options of customizing hundreds of various flavors including your favorite tobacco. There are even holiday like flavors available in some and others with a twist.
Now that you have a clear idea of what the pros of each, it’s up to you to decide what’s better for you. Sure, tobacco cigarettes are extremely available to buy, temporary relives the stress during the hectic season, and fun to socialize with out at a company’s holiday party. But by the end of the day you sure feel it in bones that something isn’t right, and it sure isn’t from that sugar dense fruit cake you just ate. For electronic cigarettes, it clearly trumps tobacco in the amount of carcinogens and toxins it contains, save you a lot more money to spend during the holidays, and free yourself and love ones from harmful second hand smoke. Smoking is clearly out of the question.
