For a smoker to fully recover from years of abuse, the person has to set their mind to living a healthy lifestyle. After years of consuming bad chemicals, a smoker's body is constantly trying to maintain homeostasis, constantly trying to function normally again. The body has to work extra hard when a person decides to smoke because whatever goes into the body, has to come out.
