Stop Smoking For Good

So you want to stop smoking for good. To be honest if you are thinking of quitting you should not be focusing in anything other then for good. You need to be committed and not allow yourself to wander from the only goal which is to stop smoking for good.

You really will need focus if you are going to give up the filthy habit of smoking. The first thing you need to do is you will be fighting an addiction that is right there at the top of the list for addictions. Even when you do manage to quit you will be fighting the addiction for the rest of your life.

The first and most important thing when it comes to stop smoking for good is really wanting it. If you think you will quit just because or because some one told you to then you really are wasting your time. Remember I said you will be fighting a very strong addiction. I guess I am saying is if you really are not ready then dont bother. Please believe me when I tell you that you will know when you will be ready.

Understand that it is okay to be scared and even a little freaked out. After all when you stop smoking for good will be one of the most important days of your life.

Do not allow people with negative attitudes hang with you or get you down. It is important to hang out with positive people. You will need strong influences to help you get through this battle.

Be sure to set a date and stick to it. Remind yourself everyday of the day you will stop smoking for good. When the day arrives do not allow yourself extra time. The day you decided on is the day you quit.

The next thing you need to think about is some of the aids that you may need to help you kick the habit. You may need some stuff like nicotine gum, inhalers, lozenges, the patch and maybe even some stuff that require a doctor to write a prescription for. Never the less it is okay to use some help when you quit.

You will stop smoking for good and if you use aids please know that these are for just temporary help. Eventually you will need to give up all the aids and walk away a non smoker.

When it comes right down to it we are all looking for the same results but our stop smoking journeys are all very different. Bottom line is we want everyone to stop smoking for good.
