The Day To Quit Smoking Has Arrived

So the day you will quit smoking has now arrived and you are ready for this to happen.  You know you are ready, you know its going to be difficult but easy or hard the day to quit smoking is here.

You have known for a long time that this day was coming.  You know smoking was something you loved.  However you now know that nothing good can come out of being a smoker.  For some reason you have always thought you were invincable as do many younger people.  However you are now at the age that you know the best thing to do is to quit smoking.

For a couple of months now you have been preparing yourself for this day.  You have told everyone including yourself that you would quit smoking on this day.  You reminded yourself many times on a daily basis that you would quit on this day.

You have done your home work and you know this isnt going to be easy by any stretch of the imagination.  Yo have learned that being addicted to smoking is a greater addiction then most of the dangerous drugs like cocaine and heroin.  Many people do have an easier time getting off the heavy drugs as opposed to cigarettes.

You know that you are going to attempt to quit smoking and you feel really good about your decision.  You have gone out and purcchased the help you think you may need.  You got some nicotine gum, a nicotine inhaler, the patch, some lozenges and maybe even an e-cigarette.  Chances are you wont need all this help but it never hurts to be prpared when you are about to quit smoking.

Chances are you will have little or big panic attacks at certain points.  There will be times you would expect to miss a cigarette when you wont and other times when you dont expect to miss a smoke that you will.  The time you take to quit smoking is going to be hell on you.  The thing is you know it is something you have to do.  You know if you want to save your life the only chance you have is by becoming a non smoker.

The world is a tough place and with tough places we get tough decisions.  Quitting smoking will not only be a tough decision but will also be the toughest thing you ever have to do in your life.  It really isnt something that is going to go away over night.

Your journey as a non smoker wont be easy but when you quit smoking you will feel the greatest accomplishment ever.
