Have you ever looked at a Vaping Starter Kit? It can be almost as confusing as a Vapor Cigarette!
Does it vape manually, what kind of vaping tools come in the starter kit, will there be any e-Liquid supplied and the list can go on and on.
Well I am here to tell you, if you are new to the Vapor World this is the fastest and easiest way to get your running shoes on and get in the race.
DanaB, what exactly is a Starter Kit?
I am so glad you asked that question.
The majority of the Vaping Sites have packaged up their devices for you and they will call these nice little packages "Starter Kits".
Vaping is still coming into the market and these Starter Kits are a big seller for the Vendor because a new Vaper (such as yourself) is really not sure of all the different components that are going to be needed to get started.
What better way to get started than to buy a Starter Kit! TaDa!
This is where I come into play. The trick is working our way through this jungle and try to determine how to pick the best Starter Kit for you. The last thing you want to do is waste your hard earned money on a Starter Kit only for it to end up in a box back in your closet.
So, what is in a Starter Kit?
A good Starter Kit will have everything you need when you receive it so you will be ready to vape within 5-10 minutes after you open it.
A list of components that are normally in a kit are:
- Batteries
- Charger (this could be a USB or another type of device)
- Cartomizers
- Tank (if required for this kit)
- e-Liquid
- Carrying Case (if you are buying that type of e-Cig)
The Battery in a Starter Kit
If you have been following me you will know I do not deal with the smaller e-Cigarettes. The type of batteries in those vaping tools are extremely small voltage (2 to 4 volts) and the battery is basically measured in "puffing time". I don't deal with puffs.
We need some throat hit and we need some vapors, so when I am talking batteries I am talking 5+ volts. This is the key to move off cigarettes and move into vaping and really enjoy the experience.
If you are not getting the straight throat hit and the vapor like you do when you are smoking, you will NEVER put down a cigarette and understand what all the fuss is about when it comes vaping.
With that said, look at the battery size in the Starter Kit and make sure it has a high voltage of at least 5 volts. If you can't find one that high the next best possible is 4.7 volts.
Any lower and you are taking a risk of just wasting your money and being back at square one wondering why you even wasted your time!
Last little Tip before I go
When you order your kit, make sure and order an extra package or two of your Cartomizers that go with the vaping tool that you just bought.
The reason I say this is because if you are like me you will burn up about two Cartomizers before you learn how to fill it properly with your e-Liquid. Yes, I know I am blonde but at least I don't have two right feet!
There is nothing worse than having burnt up Cartomizers staring up at your from the floor (because I usually get mad and throw them across the room) that you can't use.
Cartomizers are your life-line that brings your juice up and let's you inhale, without one you are pretty much back to your ole' stinking pack of cigarettes.
So, with all that said, STOP READING THIS! Get out there and get to shopping! Find you a good Vaping Starter Kit that has some great vaping tools and an awesome battery and come into my world.
If you have any questions, just ask below. I am always around somewhere.
Happy Vapin!

Nice that there's an introduction to vaping. It`s all a little intimidating to some from what I`ve seen.
Very much so Chip. People think these devices are all about the little e-cigarette and there is no strength behind them but I haven't touched a cigarette in years. Granted, I am now working my way off of "nicotine" but at least I am not getting the tar and other carcinogens that come into play when smoking a very harsh cigarette.
