Melted Brie & Artichoke Dip

Here’s what you will need:

  • 1 package Spring Vegetable recipe mix
  • 1 can (14 oz.) artichoke hearts, drained and chopped
  • 1 cup mayonnaise
  • 1 container (8 oz.) sour cream
  • 8 ounces Brie cheese, rind removed and cut into chunks

And here is how you make it:

  1. Preheat the oven to 350°.
  2. Mix all the ingredients in a 1-quart casserole and bake for approximately half an hour, or until the dip is nice and hot.

Cinco De Mayo

Dare to be different on Cinco De Mayo by serving a delicious Chili Con Queso in place of traditional guacamole or salsa appetizers. This easy dip recipe featuring melted Monterey Jack cheese also makes great use of cumin, chili powder and chopped green chilies, which add a delightfully spicy kick to the recipe.

  • Chili Con Queso

Here’s what you will need:

  • 2 Tbsp. butter or spread
  • 1 medium onion, chopped
  • 1 ½ cups water
  • 1 medium tomato, chopped
  • 1 package Chicken flavor Rice Sides
  • 1 tsp. chili powder
  • ½ tsp. ground cumin (Optional)
  • ½ cup light cream
  • 1 can (4 oz.) chopped green chilies
  • 16 ounces shredded Monterey Jack cheese

And here is how you make it:

  • Cook the onions in the spread in a medium saucepan. When they are tender, add the water, tomato, Rice Sides, chili powder, and cumin. Bring the contents to a boil, then reduce the heat and simmer. Occasionally stir the mixture until the liquid has been absorbed, then add the cream and chilies. Reducing the heat, gradually add the Monterrey cheese one cup at a time. Continue simmering until the cheese has melted and the flavors are combined.

The fourth of July typically hosts the sort of sweltering temperatures that encourage outdoor barbeques laden with grilled meats, cool potato salads and plenty of refreshing fruit. What you will need:

  • 1 package (8 oz.) cream cheese, softened
  • ½ cup light mayonnaise
  • 2 Tbsp. sweetened iced tea mix
  • 2 Tbsp. chopped fresh cilantro
  • 1 ½ tsp. Tomato Bouillon with Chicken flavor
  • 1 ½ tsp. lime juice

And here is how you make it:

1. Briskly whisk all of the ingredients together until properly blended and completely smooth.

No one wants to ring in the New Year with anything less than the best because it’s an opportunity to forecast what the next year will bring. That’s precisely why this sophisticated but simple dip recipe should be your go-to.

Warm Slow Cooker Crab Dip

What you will need:

  • 1 container (16 oz.) sour cream
  • 1 can (6.5 oz.) crabmeat [or 1 cup fresh or frozen crabmeat]
  • 1 package cream cheese, softened
  • 1 package Vegetable recipe mix
  • 1 tsp. lemon juice

And here is how you make it:

  1. Add all of the ingredients to a 1-½ -quart slow cooker. Allow to cook on high for 2 hours and then stir before serving.
