Cooking is often not as difficult as it is to people who are not fond of it. People avoid learning the culinary art believing that it is complex, not everyone's cup of tea and involves perfect measurements. However, it is not as rigid as it may sound to some. like any other art, it gives you the freedom to experiment with it and come up with your own creations. Yes, preparing a time-tested and traditional recipe does require following a particular recipe to get the perfect desired texture and taste. However, there are no rigid rules that one cannot try out or innovate on recipes that has already been tried and tested over the years. If you are a rebellion for whom stepping on the known does not come naturally or you want to consciously experiment, you can do so for elaborate meal recipes as well as easy snack recipes.

Be it for meals or simple snacks, Italian food offers some of the easiest recipes to start with. Though some may take time to cook, like boiling pasta, all you need to do is soak them in water and keep it on simmer till the pasta is done to perfection. Make sure that it is neither hard or over done. Keep checking at regular intervals to ensure the same. However, you need not require exceptional expertise to boil it, only some patience to wait till it has been cooked well. Thereafter, preparing the tomato or cheese-based sauce doesn't require much time or expertise. Similarly, pizza recipes are easy to prepare too. Pizza are readily available in the market. All that needs to be done is to spread the sauce evenly over the bread, put your choice of veggies and chicken over it and oven bake it. Pizza is ready to be enjoyed.

Snack recipes offer wide opportunities for innovation and experimentation. Starting off with easy snack recipes are often the best because they usually take the least time, thus, ensuring that the first experience of cooking does not discourage you to try cooking further. If the ingredients of the recipe that you want to try is not available, there is no need to be perturbed. try the same recipe with alternative ingredients that will impart the same taste to the recipe. For instance, if the recipe requires tomato which is not available at home then, replace it with yogurt or vinegar or lemon with will add a similar tangy taste to the dish. The colour may get altered and even the taste perhaps, but it will give the dish a slight different taste, thus, making it taste unique.

Similarly, for pizza recipes experiment with the ingredients and the type of breads to give a twist to it.
