Want To Make Spicy Mayonnaise Sauce For Sushi?

Ever wish to make your very own spicy mayonnaise sauce for all of your sushi rolls you eat? Why is it that people love to add spicy sauce to their sushi rolls? People go crazy for the spicy sauce. They'll either add it to their tuna or other tasty sushi rolls. More people are switching to spicy mayo sauce and forgetting about the old fashion wasabi. I guess because wasabi gives you that acid taste in your mouth that makes you almost want to spit out the whole sushi roll out of your mouth. For some, both wasabi and spicy mayo sauce is great. Now, when trying out the spicy mayonnaise sauce, you need to be careful not to eat so much of it since it contains high calories. Enough said, I will demonstrate in the following recipe below, on how to make your very own spicy mayonnaise sauce.

The Ingredients:

First, you will grab 1 tablespoon of any type of mayonnaise of your desired choice. A great choice I recommend is Kewpie.

Next, you will need 1 tablespoon of a great sauce known to be called "Sriracha". This type of spicy sauce is by far a great choice for mixing with mayonnaise.

The last ingredient you need will be, 1 tsp of lemon flavored juice. This choice is optional.

Start To Stir

Before you start to stir, make sure you get a small size bowl so your soon to be spicy sauce can be evenly combined. It is very important making sure to mix both Sriracha hot sauce and the mayonnaise. They need to be spread out evenly. Start stirring and have fun with it. Don’t make a huge mess all over your kitchen counter. This will save you time for cleaning. What then needs to be done, is use the spicy sauce once it is made or if not, store it inside your fridge.

A Great Tip

Once you have combined all the ingredients, get a plastic Ziploc bag and start pouring the spicy sauce into the Ziploc bag. Make a tiny hole on the very tip to gently start squeezing the bag. By doing this, you will have your sushi roll covered with the spiciness of mayonnaise sauce.

I hope this spicy sauce ingredients has helped you in many ways. Now you will be able to make your very own spicy mayonnaise to add that extra spicy flavor to every sushi roll dish that can be shared with friends and family.

Hey Cynthia, thanks for your positive feedback. I don't eat wasabi much myself, I try it a bit. Tofu pockets are delicious! =)

Wasabi's too much for me - this seems like a great alternative. Though I only eat vegetarian sushi so I suspect it's not a fit for all of the flavors (like my favorites in plum and the tofu vinegar pockets). Mouth wateringly good article!
