Consortium of Medical, Engineering and Dental colleges of Karnataka (COMEDK) conducts common entrance exam, each year, by the same name. Exam is conducted for admission of candidates into colleges of Karnataka, which offers undergraduate Engineering and Medical courses. Exam is conducted every year, this year it will be held on 10 May 2015. All the other important dates of COMEDK 2015 are as below:

• Online Application will be issued in: March 2015
• Issuance of Admit Cards will begin form: April 2015
• COMEDK 2015 UGET is due on: 10 May 2015
• Scores will be announced in May 2015
• Rank List will be issued in June 2015
• Counselling will start in July 2015

Along COMEDK 2015 application form, information brochure will also be issued, in March 2015. In information brochure, details of all the events and their dates will be announced. Both will be issued on the official website only. Candidates will be able to avail and submit application form online only. Conducting body will not provide any other medium to submit the same.

Admission will be granted to eligible candidates only, so it is suggested that candidates, before filling the application form, check the eligibility criteria. The laid down eligibility criteria, for COMEDK 2015, is as below:

• Candidates must be, at least, 17 year, as on 31 December 2015.
• Candidates must have passed 10+2 from a recognized Institute, with, at least, 50% marks in it. For SC/ ST candidates of Karnataka, the same, is 40%.
• Candidates must have had, Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics/ Biology as core subjects, along English in which candidates should have secured 50% marks (40% for SC/ ST candidates)

If candidates fulfill the criteria above then they may apply for COMEDK 2015. Candidates will be able to avail application online, from the official website. After visiting the official website, candidates must seek the appropriate link for application form. Link will direct candidates to online registration. Candidates will have to submit all the required details. Before submitting the details in application form, candidates are advised to re-check it and submit it only if they are sure about the entered details. Misleading information will be harmful for candidates and might lead to their disqualification form admission procedure.

Candidates will have to pay application fee as. There is only one medium to remit application fee and that is by generating a Demand Draft, form any nationalized bank. Application fee will also be announced with information brochure, but for the reference of our readers, last year it was Rs. 1200 (if applied for PCB or PCM) and Rs. 1500 (if applied for PCMB). COMEDK 2015 admit card will also be issued to candidates online, from the official website. Candidates must carry it to the exam center, as entry in exam hall will be granted against it only. Candidates who will fail to produce their admit card will not be allowed to write the exam.
