Nagaland Board of School Education (NBSE) is a board of education based in Nagaland and is responsible for the development and promotion of secondary education in the state of Nagaland. The main objective behind the formation of this board was development of school education, adopting reforms in examination practices and guiding the Nagaland Government in formulating education policies in the same regard. NBSE also conducts various educational seminars and workshops for teachers & heads of institutions.

NBSE Class X examinations are called as “High School Leaving Certificate Examination (HSLC)” in Nagaland. The NBSE Board examinations are generally conducted in the month of February/March. HSLC Examinations are conducted for subjects like English, Science, Mathematics, Social Science, Alternative English, Bengali, Home Science, Book Keeping and Accounts etc.

This year, HSLC examinations commenced on 11 February 2015 and concluded on 24 February 2015. The result for these examinations are generally declared within a month of the conduction of examinations. The NBSE Board 10th Result 2015 is expected to be announced in the last week of April 2015. The result will be published online on the official NBSE website as soon as it will be declared.

NBSE Result is prepared after adopting the below scheme for Relative Grading.

Based on the performance of an examinee and in relation with the group's performance, the actual percentage of the grades may vary with the above fixed percentage in each subject. Therefore, the cut off marks of the grades will also vary from subject to subject.

The NBSE Board 10th Result 2015 published online and the marksheets downloaded online will only be for their immediate information. Original mark sheets will be issued by their respective schools later.

For accessing and downloading the result online, students can refer ro the under listed steps-

• Students awaiting for their results will be required to firstly visit the NBSE official website.
• Then on the homepage itself, candidates will be able to view the “Result link” on the left side.
• Upon clicking on this link, candidates will be required to click on the “High School Leaving Certificate Examination 2015” link.
• After the candidate would have opened the respective HSLC result link, he/she would be asked to enter in the class X roll no. For checking the result.
• Upon filling and submitting the details, the results will be displayed to the candidate.
