Bathroom Remodel: Day 1

1. Unload tool, prep area with drop cloths and plastic sheeting for dust control

2. Remove entry doorTurn off water to sink, disconnect supply line, disconnect trap, remove sink

3. Remove mirror

4. Remove countertop

5. Remove vanity

6. Remove toilet

7. Remove medicine cabinets

8. Remove tile or shower enclosure and backing in tub/shower area

9. Remove and replace drywall as needed

10. Turn off water to home

11. Disconnect tub drain

12. Disconnect tub faucet

13. Remove tub

14. Replace tub/shower valve

15. Install new tub

16. Install densi-shield or cement board in tub/shower area

17. Tape and mud densi-shield joints

18. Drywall taped and mudded two coats using 20 minute hot mud as needed

19. Turn water on to home

Bathroom Remodel: Day 2

1. Sand, sponge, and finish drywall joints

2. Texture to finish

3. Use quickset mortar, set tile around tub or set enclosure

4. Turn off water to home, cut off sink water shut offs, and replace with new shut off valves

5. Turn water on to home

Bathroom Remodel: Day 3

1. Grout wall tile

2. Caulk 90 degree angles in shower/bath area

3. Prime and paint walls

4. Pre-paint or stain base, case, or quarter round trim

5. Prep floor as needed (Install backer board on floor)

6. Tile floor

Bathroom Remodel: Day 4

1. Finish Painting 3rd coat

2. Grout floor

3. Assemble and Install new vanity

4. Install new countertop, install faucet, supply lines, and drain to sink, install sink

5. Connect plumbing on sink to drain and shut off valves
