An Indian organisation, Staff Selection Commission (SSC) was set up for recruiting eligible staff in various departments, ministeries and Indian Government offices. The SSC written examination generally comprise of MCQ based questions asked from the respective field for which the examination is conducted. Also the paper does have questions asked for evaluating the layman knowledge of the appearing candidate regarding General knowledge & awareness, Quantitative aptitude & reasoning and basic questions related to English subject.
