Everything We Do Is Based On Trust

Something happened and I began to think about trust, everything we do is based on trust and we all have to realize that. Trust is like having a full believe on something or somebody. some people don't even think about what they do or the way they act sometimes, not considering their integrity.

We had a program and a lady was told earlier before the day of the program that she will share something and she agreed and her name was included down. On the day of the program, thirty minutes before the she was to share; she sent me a text message to tell the leader of the organization that she is not coming and I was like what, I called her, she didn't pick up her phone.I went and told the leader but it bothered me so much. However the program still went on and was great even without her.

Then afterwards, I was thinking of what the lady did and within me I felt that there was no trust, no reliability and n integrity. Later I found out from her that she never wanted to come because she can't face big audience, so why didn't she come clean and say no that she'll not be able to do it. But I found out one thing, if the leader had paid close attention to their conversation, maybe she would have noticed something. It's important to be a good listener, as you connect with people, listen to them, check their comments, you can decode one or two things. Don't be carried away with exciting attitude. When you start connecting or talking with people, little by little as you are building trust, keep your ears wide open, be a good listener.

Everything is based on trust, you cannot work well with people you do not trust, you can't do business with them or anything serious. You have to trust them and they have to trust you. The business or whatever, is not the main thing, the main thing is the relationship. If it is solid, whatever you do together will succeed, either business, job, marriage or family affair; because they are all built on trust.

As you connect and share views, you learn each other and know the extent of the trust. There are people, that you can trust fully, whole heartedly and there are some you can trust with certain things, not everything. It's important that you begin to make a change in life. Now, you are changed, you find out that you cannot do anything alone, you must need somebody. It's for every one's benefit that we build trust and integrity; demonstrate it to be able to have success and excellence.
