When you read a title such as the one on this article; if you are not a Christian it may make you cringe because it isolates you for doom. However to really deal with it and respect the title one must understand the need to be salvaged in the first place. If you do not believe you need to be salvaged then Jesus is not necessary. At any rate, anyone that read my articles and publications know that I write for the Christian audience because it is among Christians that Jesus needs recovered first. Once Christians get educated or rather reeducated and have their act together, it is then the rest of the world will take them serious and thus take Jesus very serious. It is from there that they will learn that Jesus is the only way to salvation.
First off why does man need to be salvaged? The word salvage means to recover or save; and if you remember Adam and Eve got away from God in the Garden of Eden and at that moment they needed to be recovered. Adam sinned against God by listening to his wife Eve and thus listening to Satan who told the biggest lie of that day; man should not surely die. From that man got away from God, if you remember the story man was put out of the garden unless he continued to stay around God and learn how to live forever. The entire creation was in jeopardy because everyone born was doom for death because all sin, after the sin of our father Adam; further we are born into sin.
So we need to be salvaged and God spent a lot of time looking for a man clean enough to intercede for man and recover him. When the Lord saw no one was clean enough to do the job, he sent His Arm (Jesus Christ) to do the job. It is from this Peter says in Acts chapter 4 verse 12, there is no other name under heaven where any man can be saved. It is only through the name of Jesus that we can attain salvation. Jesus said He is the door, and by Him if any man enters the same will be saved (St. John 10 v9). This requires two things, believing on Jesus and keeping His ways, which is His covenant the Commandments.
You may not feel broken that you do not need salvation; but when you live all of your life on earth, you will die and this is what Jesus has promised to reclaim for you; your life so that you may live forever in the Kingdom of God and not in the mortal kingdom of man. Jesus is the only way to salvation; do not let any man fool you into thinking He is not; or that there is another. There is none other than Jesus.
I pray peace and blessings of wisdom knowledge and understanding rain upon you and all of yours in Jesus name.
