The God of the Bible’s creation as we know it for man began in the book of Genesis and in chapter one. This is God's creation. God made the heaven and earth and we're about to see the creation of everything we see around us. We’ll do this as we study Genesis chapter one.
Day One: God makes light, which divides the day from night, and the evening and then the morning were the first day. Keep that in mind, the night starts the day, the morning follows. In the Roman calendar, midnight begins the day; on God's calendar, when the sun goes down, a new day begins.
Day Two: Now the earth was nothing but a big ball of water and the Lord created the atmospheres and the heavens where the sun and moon are located and what many do not know is that above the stars that are in heaven there is a big body of water. God used what we call "space" to divide those waters away from the waters on the earth. This is what verses 6-8 is detailing and this was done on day two.
Day Three: On the third day, God brought forth the land, or dry earth, as I said before the earth was just covered in water. On day three God brings the land up as well as the grass, herbs, fruit trees and all things for plants and trees for food. Their seed was in after his kind, so according to this there should not be a debate as to what came first, the chicken or the egg; it is obviously the chicken.
Day Four: Now the light God created He put them in Heaven not only to divide the night from the day but also for them to be signs and changes of the seasons, for days and for years. In other words, here is the world’s shot clock, here is the sand bottle watch ticking away. This creates time. And God made two big lights in heaven, the sun and moon and smaller light in the stars. So the first new moon was made on the fourth day; this is something to keep in mind for future studies.
Day Five: In day five, God made the fish of the sea and the birds of the air and required them the multiply greatly on the earth. This was the fifth day of work.
Day Six: On the sixth day, God made the land based animals and then made man in His own image. So we have these wax images at museums today and they make them look exactly like the celebrity. This is what God did with man. With some of the finest dirt in the earth as well as precious plant based metals, God made man to look like Himself but not to have the abilities as He has. God and man are of two completely different substances; however they look alike.
God gave man power over all other animals and God created both the male and female. The male did not come first, it is just the woman was inside the man. Another note in verse 26 is that God says let "us" make man in "our" image. God is more than one we learn here. Just as man is more than one so is God. We will get a description of angels to really see if God is referring to angels when He says let us make man in our own image. This was the sixth day, so man was created on the sixth day of God's creation plan.
If we read right into day 7; you’ll see that it should or could have been part of Genesis chapter one but we’ll leave the book as it is right?
God bless you in Jesus name…Amen

You should have included Day 7, because it is the day that man has, for the most part, chosen to ignore. It is the day that God rested from all that he had created and made and blessed it! It is the Day that He spent with Adam and Eve in the garden each week. Man has chosen to ignore what God has commanded with respect to the significance of the Sabbath Day. May God bless you and your family. I hope to meet you one day when this Earth is made over brand new!
