The Bible Is About Jesus

Many people make the grave mistake in thinking that the bible is a novel, a feel good read, a motivational piece, great literature, the Word of God, and for inspiration. However, one key element that is missing when it comes to the Bible is that the entire bible is all about Jesus. Carefully dissected, you’ll realize that God, the Father, is forcing man to believe on Jesus the Christ, in order for you to fully believe on or in Him. Therefore, the entire bible is about Jesus Christ, and He and the Father are one.

In St. John 12 verses 44 Jesus says that if you believe in Him, you don’t believe just in Him, but in Him who sent Jesus. So Jesus is God and had to be sent by one of His equals, which was the Father. The Father sent Jesus to do a job and Jesus came to proclaim to man about His Father in Heaven. The sticky factor is that people believe that Jesus began in the New Testament. That is only the testimony; Jesus began in the beginning, in Genesis.

In Genesis, Jesus Christ was the Woman’s seed, Jesus was the one that met Abraham with the two angels that went and destroyed Sodom and Gomorrah. Jesus was Melchizedek that met Abraham after the battle with kings and came with the bread and wine that Abraham gave Him tithes of all. It was Jesus Christ who led Moses and the Israelites out of Egypt and into the wilderness. In 1st Corinthians chapter 10 verses 1-5 it tells us that Jesus Christ was the rock that followed the children of Israel. How could it be Jesus if He was born with Mary?

In His discussion with the Pharisees they wanted to stone Jesus for saying that He was the Son of God; and He told them that before Abraham was, I AM. They knew what He meant by this and wanted to kill Him. However, how and why would Jesus say He’s been around since before Abraham? Because He was and the Bible talked about Him before Abraham came around. The days before Jesus died or was killed He offered up a prayer to the Father requesting that the Father allow Jesus to return to His former estate that He had, with all His power that He had before the world was.

In Zechariah the Lord says He will come dwell among His creation and His people so that they will know that He was sent by the Lord of Host. The entire bible does its best, to describe Jesus and all the work He has done and will do; but the whole thing is about Jesus Christ. If we get away from knowing that the bible is based on the belief of the Anointed One, the Christ, the Messiah, the Holy One of Israel, and we treat it just for inspiration, motivation, and good literature; we are totally missing the point. Missing the point can have grave consequences later on.

The Father has little to do with this project, and by project I mean this creation, especially when it went south with the disobedience of Adam. That is why Jesus tells us, we have never seen the Father, and have never heard His voice. The Father has put this project in the hands of His Christ, therefore the bible is about Jesus and it is Him whom we have been dealing with the entire time. So if you do not like Him; I suggest you kiss the Son before He becomes displeased just a little bit.

Grace to you in the name of Jesus
