Who Is Jesus Christ?
This is a question that many will think should be posed as, who was Jesus Christ, for the simple fact that He died. However, it is clear to the world that Jesus has been depicted in many different ways by many different religions, Christian denominations, individuals, and even institutions. But who really is Jesus Christ? Have you thought to ask yourself this question, who is Jesus Christ? Well let us get some background; Christ is not a last name but a title or identification. Christ is the Greek translation of Messiah.
The word Messiah simply referred to or meant the Anointed One. So Jesus is the anointed One; and His name is Jesus. Paul spoke about Jesus being unknown when he read a inscription titled, “to the Unknown god (Acts 17 v23).” The Greeks then and now have many gods, and Paul saw that they were too superstitious and not aware of whom the true God was; and Paul had to make aware to the Greek Gentiles who God is. We all know Paul preached to them about Jesus the Christ.
We have to be aware of the fact that in the beginning God said unto God, “let us make man in our own image (Genesis 1 v26-27).” There we have at least two Beings speaking to each other and they both had to look the same because they commanded to make a man that looks like both of them. If you visit the chapter in Ezekiel when Ezekiel gives the dreaded description of how the angels of God physically appear. As dreadful as the description is; it looks nothing like what we, humans, look like today.
Therefore, God was talking to God and not the angels of God. Jesus makes some statements that will help him qualify Himself as one of the Beings in Genesis chapter that He was God. Take for instance in St. John 17 v4-5 …
Jesus Christ praying to the Father says glorify me with the glory I had with thee before the world was. Ideally, Jesus was telling the Father that He did the work He was sent to do and prayed that the Father would glorify Him, or give Him His former power and glory He had before the world was. Is Jesus speaking reckless or is He saying the truth, that He was God, became man to save humanity, and has returned back to being God? The answer is yes.
The reason is because Jesus in the Old Testament told us that He has been around since forever. He has taken credit for being the Eternal One, He tells how He created darkness and how when He called, no man was there to answer, and how He dried up rivers. But He also gave His back to the violent men to beat, and let them beat Him and kill Him, just so He can save humanity (Isaiah 50 v2-6).
Who is Jesus Christ? He is the God of all times, the creator, the everlasting power, the Prince of Peace, He was God, came into His own world, became man, died for humanity, and has returned to the right hand of fellowship with the Father as GOD, waiting and expecting all His enemies to become His footstool! Praise God in the name of Jesus the Christ.

Jesus also said " You are the same as I am, and you can do the same, and much greater works than I" So we are all, or (everything) is an aspect of God. This makes God everything, so we are God, all of us,everything in existence is God. God is the Universe.
Amen! Good job! Jesus is Lord and God, and the Savior of all who accept him! Keep writing!
