Ok, the race is on, and the Irish are scouring our countries newspapers, all trying to figure out what happened to the 6 and a half ton satellite. Maybe NASA and the Gov't took my advice from the last article, and sent it over to the middle east, where it would be much more appreciated. rather than waste it on us fat lazy American's.
The satellite was originally used as an Upper Atmosphere Research Satellite, or UARS, back in 1992, launched by the space shuttle Columbia.
The 6.5 ton ( i really like saying that ) satellite is beleived to be located at 57d longitude by 57d lattitude, so NASA has it narrowed down, somewhat. The falling satellite has been baffling NASA since lat week, and johnny appleseed is pissed for having his day pre-empted. The Satellite, moving at five hundred miles per a second (WHEW), slowed down its path as it entered earth's atmosphere, changing it's trajectory, NASA said.
With all the solar activity we have had from our closest star, the atmosphere has altered the path of the satellite. When there is a lot of solar activity, it tends to add ionization to our atmosphere, altering it's density, and it's shape. With the recent X-flares from the sun, the Coronal mass ejections that are slamming our planet, and an SFI at 190, it is no wonder why the 6 and a half ton (cool how i slip that in there) falling satellite with johnny appleseed's face imprint on it, changed it's game plan in the 4th quarter, and is now playing hide and seek.
the six and a half ton (heh) falling satellite, moving at 500 Miles per a second, that has broken into 2 dozen peices ,all falling towards our planet, in a 500 mile path across the face of this earth, is really no surprise. NASA has once again proven why budget cuts are important to our country.
Somewhere, out their, in some backwards nation, in a remote area, with very little signs of life, their is a lone man, standing before a pile of Rubble, that once was part of a Multi Million dollar satellite, that fell from the sky, leaving a trail of parts, like a trail of bread crumbs leading back to civilization. The pile still smoldering, with little licks of smoke here and their, dancing across his gaze, as he wonders, just what this could be, and what sort of Devil's had sent the hot smoldering beast that had left a trail of debris, across his landscape, as far as the eye could see.
