When looking for excellent audio books to listen to one has to look no further than to the new, emerging author, Brandon Sanderson. The author Brandon Sanderson has recently become famous for finishing The Wheel of Time series after Robert Jordan's death. Sanderson is a great author with lots of new books coming out soon.

Brandon Sanderson is a fantasy / science fiction writer who writes mainly about magical worlds. Each world usually has a God-type figure and the worlds revolve around magic. Every novel is similar but also different in a way. Sanderson makes each novel an exciting new adventure.

Sanderson has written many wonderful novels that capture your heart and imagination. A great trilogy that is one of the best audio books ever is known as Mistborn. The Mistborn trilogy is about a world in which there are two classes of people: the nobility who are the wealthy descendants of a God-king that have magical abilities, and the Skaa who are the poor/slaves who serve the nobility and do not have any magical abilities. Mistborn is a great tale of the struggles of the poor and their fight to gain their freedom from seemingly impossible scenarios.

Another book that Sanderson has written is called Elantris. In this novel, Sanderson writes about a world in which once powerful Gods have now become weak, rotting, cursed wretches. It is an amazing story of how the world was affected by having their once beloved and cherished Gods now weak and cursed. Elantris is another one of the best audio books.

Sanderson is also currently known for The Stormlight Archives, a rumored ten-part series with the first novel called The Way of Kings. This novel is a great story about magic and monarchy. You will be encompassed in a world of wonder with the struggles and triumphs of the weak.

Along with the amazing story line of The Way of Kings, the wonderful Michael Kramer narrates the audio book with incredible ability. Kramer uses different voices for each of the characters and puts a passion into reading this novel that is hard to find. You will be entranced not only by the book itself but by listening to it as well. I have to warn you though, you will end up reading a hundred pages before you even realize it! You will come to agree that The Way of Kings is one of the best audio books, and with another nine books coming out withing the next ten to fifteen years, you will have entertainment for years to come! The Way of Kings is definitely one of those books that will have you wanting more and more.
