Stuttering And What People Think Of You

To be honest, I can go on for days about this topic, but I will try my best to keep it short and simple. As a child, I have always struggled with being myself. I mean, I have always been myself around people that truly love me and will never manipulate me on purpose. I never understood why I feel comfortable with some friends and uncomfortable with other friends and family. Now, I do.

See, I struggle with a speech problem called "stuttering". This have always been the root to my shyness, unable to speak for myself, and always thinking someone is talking negative about me. But this is not the point.

Throughout my life, people always assume I am dumb or slow. And honestly, this has affected my life and how I think about myself. I mean, everybody in this life are slow about something, but that doesn't mean that they are stupid. I know that I am not stupid. If I was stupid, then I would've never graduated from high school on a college level, or passed my phlebotomy course, or I wouldn't be able to hold a decent interesting conversation.

How many times have you been publically manipulated? If you have ever been publically manipulated at least once, then you know how angry and hateful it makes you feel. When people that are suppose to love you or care about you manipulate you in the most crazy way, they do not care about you.

I believe that no one really understands me, not even my mother and father understand me. It is so frustrating, but that's life. Believe it or not, upon writing this article, I never knew how great of a person I am until I literally erased all the so call people that love me and are real friends with me.

Erasing people out of my life opened my eyes to see the ones that are truly there for me and are my true friends. Yes, people think I am dumb and slow. Yes, many of my family members think I am a nobody. And yes my stuttering helped me believe that all of this nonsense is true. And yes, believing all this nonsense made it true, but I write to the world now and I will tell you this. I put this on everything I love.

I am not dumb or stupid. I am somebody, I am Saytue Nalor Saye. I am intelligent, creative, and different. There are people that love me uncomditional. I do have real friends and family. And most importantly, I am wealthy. I am not wealthy physically now, but my vision is far from what anyone expects.

Maybe you have been or is experiencing what I have gone through. It is ok. You have to believe in you. Don't let nobody tell you what you are and how you will become.

I wrote this article for myself, but I am sharing it with the world. If you are reading this, please share or leave a comment.
